Apex Fishing Fleet – Aboard F/V "FULL CIRCLE"
The Zona family has been connected with saltwater fishing as far back as the 1970s. Now, with their second generation of fishermen, they invite you to join them and take part in one of their offshore/nearshore trips. Apex Fishing Fleet welcomes both experienced anglers and those that want to get some salt in their veins for the first time. The Captain will ensure that this fishing adventure will be one to remember!
They'll take you out on their boat 'FULL CIRCLE'. It's a custom-made, 26' Regulator center console that's powered by twin 225 HP Yamaha engine. It's fitted out with outriggers, a live bait well, GPS, and fishfinder technology meaning that you have all that you need to have a successful day. Up to 6 anglers can join any Apex Fishing Fleet and comfortably fish at the same time.
You'll b targeting a great range of fish such as Barracuda, Cobia, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Red Snapper, and Triggerfish. With bountiful amounts of fish waiting you're bound to catch one of the ones that you've been dreaming of or stock up your freezer for the coming weeks. You'll be provided with all the equipment you'll need to get the job done including rods and Penn reels.
Included in the price is your fishing licenses. All that you have to bring are your sunscreen, sunglasses, cameras, as well as any choice of drinks and snacks. At the end of the trip, the crew will also clean your catch so bring a cooler to take it home for some fresh fish dinner and tale-telling at the table. Gratuity for the crew is always appreciated.

Half Day Trip – River on February 9, 2022 • 4 adultsWe met Captain Ed at the Boat ramp to start our morning. Captain Ed was there waiting on us and offered to help carry our stuff to the boat. The morning was colder than normal( around 50) at the start. The wind was around 10-12mph, so not the pleasant fishing day. However, we loaded the boat and set off for a morning of fishing. Dad caught a sheepshead right off, so it looked promising. The wind picked up, the biting slowed down but picked up later in the morning. Everyone landed a fish or 2 and a couple in the party even lost a few. All in all, we froze, caught fish and had a great time with Ed. We had great conversation, Captain Ed tried his hardest to put us on fish with a day that just wasn’t corporation with us. I highly recommend Captain Ed and would seek him for another fishing excursion if I am in the area again. Thanks for a great time Ed

He got us out to the spot quickly and we got our first hit and catch 10 minutes on station! Captain Ed knew exactly where to be. This was the first time me and my family oceaned fished and Captain Ed gave us very good tips and instructions on keeping the fish on the line and landing the fish. Captain Ed you really made the experience awesome you will be seeing us again next time, thank you for the great time!!

Half Day Trip – Offshore (AM) on April 4, 2022 • 3 adultsMy son, my daughter’s boyfriend, and I had a incredible day fishing! It was as perfect of a day as you could get. Captain Ed took us 19 miles out (a little farther than normal) because that is where the fish were. He kept us on top of fish all morning. There were 18 other boats around us and we were one of only two boats hitting fish. We brought home enough meat for 30 meals. AND we had an amazing time. If I could give it more than 5 ⭐️I would. We are coming back in June and can’t wait to book another trip with the man himself.
