Captain Ben McCarron is an experienced professional who has been working on the water in Montauk since the age of 12.
Jump on the comfortable 31' JC downeast boat that accommodates up to 4 anglers with ease. Upgraded with the latest electronics to keep you safe and get you on the fish faster. The boat also has a full toilet for your comfort.
Ben customizes the trip for you, based on your experience level and what you want to catch. Stay inshore to cast at blitzing Striped Bass and False Albacore with light spinning tackle, drag baits on the bottom for Fluke, or load up on Porgies, Cod, and Sea Bass. You can head offshore to chum for Sharks as well as troll or jig and pop for Tuna and Mahi Mahi. Fishing tackle will always be provided but feel free to bring your own. Whatever you like this trip is based around your interest.
If you decide to keep your catch at the end of the day the crew will be happy to fillet and bag it up for you to take home for dinner!
Push the Limit also offers specialized night Bass trips. These offer anglers of all experience levels a chance to get out after dark and tangle with Striped Bass in the 25-50 pound range. Anglers will use a mixture of live and artificial baits to get the bite. Night Bass trips are based strictly around the tide and may leave any time between sunset and sunrise.
On all trips anglers should bring their own snacks and drinks. It is also recommended they bring proper sun protection and footwear. Come enjoy a day out on the water in Montauk with the experienced crew at Push the Limit Sportfishing.

Best boat trip I've had in ages caught over 10 stripers in the first hour then switched up to fish for fluke even though the weather was like isolated rains i wouldnt trade it for any other day the way we caught all those fish…with not an ounce of bait…. i gotta say Capt Ben you know your stuff thank you for literally making my year with that trip and teaching me alot will definitely be back soon thank you again

Born and raised in Montauk, New York, Ben started working on boats at the age of 12 and never looked back. He fished from Montauk's rocky shores as a hard core surfcaster before getting his captains license and moving on to the easier world of boat fishing. Today he's comfortable in every fishery Montauk has to offer. Anything from a short day trip to a canyon overnighter, the Push the Limit crew works hard to keep you happy.

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
