Reel Busy Sport Fishing is based in Sayville, New York. The company offers charters in and around Fire Island and its inlets, the Great South Bay, and the ocean. You will go out aboard the “Reel Busy”, a 38-foot Stamas 360 Express. It was handcrafted by Stamas Yacht, which is the oldest family owned-operated company in the USA. The “Reel Busy” comes powered by twin 375 HP Mercuiser engines. Perfect for accommodating up to six anglers, she is fully rigged with the latest navigational electronics and safety equipment. The “Reel Busy” features dual live wells loaded with bait, a lotto cooler and fishbone storage and a spacious fully air-conditioned cabin with all you need for a comfortable day out. She also hosts the largest cockpit of any boat in her class. If you are up to a challenge, there is a fighting chair waiting for you!

Fishing the Fire Island and further out is a rewarding experience the could result in outstanding catches. The trips are from five to twelve hours on the water. The inshore adventures in and around the bays and inlets of Moriches and Fire Island is an ideal opportunity to catch Striped Bass, Seabass, Scup, Bluefish, Fluke, and Blackfish.  If you are up to a more serious action, a full day trip offshore will see you targeting Brown, Bonnethead, Great Hammerhead, Mako, Thresher, and Blue Sharks, along with Bluefin Tuna, Mahi-Mahi Mahi, and Skipjack.

Each trip comes with rods and reels by the leading brands, including St. Croix, Diana, Penn, Shimano, Phenix, Okuma, Whitewater Custom, Lamiglass, Seeker, Accurate, Avet, Owner, Gamagatsu, and Van Stall to end the impressive list. The crew will send your catch home cleaned and filleted. You will also be offered soft drinks. Please note that hard liquor and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on board.

Brian Lilienthal is a OUPV Coast Guard Licensed Captain. He grew up on the South Shore of Long Island, New York. Brian spent his childhood on a boat. Growing up, he fished from the Bahamas to Hawaii, working on various types of boats. Captain Brian has had an experience of both commercial and recreational fishing. He enjoys showing his friends and guests various fishing techniques and teach them about the fish species. There is nothing like watching someone setting the hook on their first trophy fish! Brian is currently a full-time Physical Education Teacher on the Island.
