Line Check Charters – 27' 

Lets start off by saying Josh blew this trip out the park. He was very informative regarding the expected weather, and what to expect. We started the trip by catching our bait for the trip. Josh made sure we were able to cast our line, and catch more than we expected. If any of us did not know what they were doing, he made sure to be very thorough explaining what we needed to do. He made sure that we all enjoyed every part of our charter trip. Lets get to the catches, and THE CATCH OF THE DAY! while we were in the hunt for Red Drum, but were open to catching anything that hit out line. we caught two Red Drum, one medium size shark, then the moment of our day. The big Daddy of all Daddies, the 5 ft, Sand Bar Shark. This fella gave me the fight I didnt know I needed. The reel and pull was a muscle killer. While we were made aware that this prize of my life, would not necessarily happen, I could still give the good fight, to let him go. and then it happened, he snapped the line. but not before I got some surface photo and videos. At the end of the day, if you’re looking for a great host for a fishing charter, definitely go with Josh. He made our experience wonderful. 

Josh was on top of everything from start to finish. The weather wasn’t ideal, but it didn’t stop us from having an amazing time on the water. The kids were catching fish almost immediately after their lines hit the water, which made the trip even more exciting. We caught a great variety of fish, including catfish, sheepshead, ladyfish, speckled trout, and the highlight of the day, sandbar sharks. Josh was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure everyone had a great experience. We had an absolute blast and would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun and memorable fishing excursion for the whole family.

Capt Josh was great. Called the night before and recommended to slip our departure an hour due to forecast sea state. Great call. It was a rough ride out to the rigs, but he got us there smartly and my daughter hooked up with a nice Jack enroute. We did a quick troll for Kings with no luck, then my youngest immediately caught a 41" Cobia. Over the rest of the day we caught a 39" Cobia (throw back) and a handful of State Snapper (2 keepers). Capt Josh and his Mate were highly attentive the whole day. Most likely going back for the Bull Red run.

Great trip on a gloomy day but we dodged the rain. Captain Josh worked hard to put is on the fish. We brought in a few bull reds which was nice. The only thing was Captain Josh set the hook for the Reds and handed the rod over to one of us to reel it in. I get it though, he didn’t want to lose a fish we fought hard to find due to an inexperienced person who didn’t know how to set the hook. I prefer setting the hook to own the fish. Josh worked hard though to keep us baited and fishing. My grandsons first salt water bay trip and he was thrilled!

We had two men, two teenagers, and a pre-teen on board, and Captain Josh delivered one of the best fishing trips we’ve ever had. From the moment we left the dock, he put us right on the fish—nonstop action, great variety, and plenty of excitement for every age in our group. Captain Josh was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to fish with. He worked hard the entire trip, kept everyone engaged, and made sure each of the kids had their own big moments. By the time we headed back in, we were all smiling, worn out in the best way, and our freezer is now completely full. Captain Josh was great on this trip. we caught red drum amd shark. Trip was to give my daughter more fishing experience. The Captain was very attentive to everything around us and taught my daughter skills she will use on future trips.

I asked captian Josh to give my 11 yr old son a trip to remember and he FAR exceeded my expectations ! He put my son a once and lifetime fish (Tarpon) !!!! And we finished the trip with a 5ft shark ! Captain Josh was absolutely amazing! we had theee adults and three kids 10 and under and he was great with them! each of our kids felt special and forbus adults it was a trip of a lifetime. My husbad, dad and son both caught a huge drum fish and we caught so many salt water catfish we had to stop. Captian Josh knew exactly where tk take us to make are shark fishing dreams a reality. I cant discribe how awesome this was! inwould recommend this group to anyone abd already have! We WILL be back!!

This was an amazing trip. Captain mike might possibly be the best captain on the water. He knew where the fish were, we literallly asked to cut the trip a bit short because we were worn out from catching sharks and red drum. sometimes all of our reels were hitting at the same time. I was suprised thinking mid November may not be good fishing. Captiam mike even filet some and told us about a restaurant that will cook yoir catch. eating our fresh caught fish really made a nice finish to the trip.
