Galveston fishing can be exceptional, and what better way to make the most of it than aboard Reelentless, a state of the art center console run by Captain Michael Regan who is serious about putting his clients onto fish.

The Reelentless is a 35 foot SeaHunter powered by two 300HP Yamaha engines. This feisty boat provides a comfortable, dry ride, featuring high sides that will protect you from spray even on choppier water. This is probably one of the newest boats in the Galveston fishing fleet, featuring top of the line amenities and up to date Garmin electronics. There is plenty of room on deck for up to 6 anglers.

An advantage of fishing out of Galveston is that you are never far from productive fishing grounds. It takes very little time to get to the jetty from the harbor, where you can start fishing right away. Large Black and Red Drum are common around here and make for excellent eating. Other tasty species found in the bay and jetty include Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Gafftop Catfish and more, and the variety of Shark species in the area can make for fun fishing. Travel up to nine miles out for fantastic nearshore fishing, where you might find monster Bull Drum, Ling and King Mackerel depending on the season. If the blue water is calling your name you will be hard pressed to find better fishing for the variety of fish we can target.

Line Check charters provide top quality fishing gear on all their charter trips. You can expect to be using tackle by Accurate, Penn and Shimano and fishing predominantly with live bait. A variety of bait and lures are brought aboard each charter depending on what the clients are interested in catching and how the fish are biting.

All levels of experience are catered for aboard Line Check. The team’s main goal is to provide each and every angler that fishes with them with the trip of a lifetime. Please note anglers over the age of 16 must bring a Texas saltwater fishing license.

We had a great trip with Mike culminating in this great catch. We will be back!

If you rate a trip successful because of the number of fish you catch this would be a wash. It happens some days, not many fish are caught. The Captain and first mate still made this a very enjoyable trip. Good conversation and lots of information and laughs. Will definitely go out again with Captain Mike.

Overall the trip was good.
Micheal was knowledgeable and friendly. We did not catch any red fish for many reasons, no fault of theirs. The bathroom on the boat was being used as storage so if you do need to use the bathroom, do it before you get on board.
