SeaPlay IV is a great, comfortable boat for exploring the Jetties around Galveston Bay. The 27ft boat offers 360 degree fishability from her center console, and her large T-Top provides you with shade on those hot summer days. With ample seating and a large enclosed restroom and freshwater sink within the console, SeaPlay IV offers all the comfort and convenience you could ask for on an inshore fishing trip. She is furnished with VHF and GPS, as well as a depth recorder, and sports a Bow Pulpit anchoring system.

The charter’s mooring is only a 30 minute boat ride to the fishing grounds, which means even those who book a shorter trip can have an exciting fishing trip. You can expect to find Bull Reds and sharks in the Summer (May through September), as well as Flounder, Jackfish and Mackerel. The annual Galveston Jetty Drum Run takes place in early spring (February and March), where you can frequently encounter large Drum weighing over 25 pounds. If you want to be in with a good chance of bagging a Flounder, the best time to fish in Galveston Bay is in the fall, when you can intercept them on their annual migration.

This was my 16 y/o son’s dream.  Donnie and Brad were wonderful.  Brad got us on the fish quickly.  He was very professional and understanding with our novice fishermen.  We caught a lot of fish!
