Join Tim Loftis Fishing for a fun day on Lake Okeechobee! Captain Tim has been fishing in the area since the late '80s, so saying he's experienced is an understatement. He knows these waters like the back of his palm and he's your man if you're hoping to learn lots of useful fishing tricks. Each trip can be adjusted to meet your needs, as long as you communicate everything in advance.
The newest addition to Capt. Tim's charter is a 23' Key West boat, built in 2021. This brand new bay boat is powered by a 250 HP Mercury engine and features Garmin GPS with depth finders. There's also a Minn Kota wireless trolling engine and twin power poles to hold the boat on the spot. You'll also find a built in cooler for drinks and dry boxes for storage.
Your main target for the day is Largemouth Bass but you can also get your hands on Crappie, Sunfish, and Snook. It depends if you stay in the lake or visit the Everglades. Crappie is one of the tastiest panfish you'll ever find and here you have the chance to catch them on your own. You can keep this fish and the captain will clean it for you free of charge. Bass and other species are being released back.
Capt. Tim is fully equipped with all the tackle and rods you'll need for whatever you fish for. You will be required to purchase your fishing license for the trip. You will also have to pay for any live bait used. Some snacks and bottled water are provided but feel free to bring your own.

Captain Tim is the man! Excellent communication and planning for our trip. We literally had a fish on the first cast and then proceeded to catch 15-20 fish anchored by a 7lber throughout the day. He is an enjoyable guide to fish with and we would easily book with him for future trips. Thank you Capt Tim!

Tim was an amazing guide and put us right where the fish were. He knew what baits to throw and where to throw them. Super friendly and fun to be around. Would recommend to anybody trying to catch some fish and have some fun.

My son (13 years old) and I had booked a 6 hour tour with Captain Tim. It was fantastic. Tim is an excellent fisherman, we fished with life bait for large mouth bass and catfish. Tim helped us with the equipment, I think he is an exceptionally good teacher for kids. When he caught a catfish with an empty hook (without bait, just the hook) in front of our eyes, we were absolutely impressed. Thank you Magic-Tim for a great fishing trip !!!

We had a great time with Tim, he is very knowledgeable about fishing and about the Lake Okeechobee! From the time he picked us up til we got back Tim took good care of us. We will definitely comeback and fish again during cooler weather.

Captain Tim caught a bug the night before our trip and could not make it. He sounded really sick on the phone, and we were appreciative that he stayed home to get well and not spread the bug. He arranged for Captain Charlie Weyer to take his place. Captain Charlie did a great job. His boat was well-equipped and was really fast. We fished many spots and used shiners, speed worms and other lures. We caught bass, gar, cats and something called a mudfish. They were all fun to catch. We fished so much we were exhausted when we finally docked. Captain Charlie really knew his stuff. It was nice to be on the lake with a guide who was Bassmaster champion.
