“PAPA PAPA” Johnny Maddox Charters 

Captain Brian and first mate Cody did an excellent job! We had to postpone our Tuesday trip because of weather. So glad we did! Thursday we show up at the dock at 730 were on the Ocean by 8. Captain Brian gets on fish right away for the morning bite! After bagging some nice Mahi we trolled around looking for tuna. We stumbled across a sea turtle wraped in fishing gear and spent better part of 30-40 mins untangling the poor turtle. What an experience being able to help that animal out of a sure death situation. It was very gratifying. Best part was the fish gods returned the good carma and gave us a quadruple tuna hit just before going back to dock! Hellz yeah! 8 nice Mahi 4 nice Black Fin, and one saved sea turtle!!! Couldn't have asked for a better day with any other crew!! We would highly recommend Papa Papa charters and Captain Brian and First mate Cody!!! Thanks guys for the incredibly awesome experience!!

First of we had a great Capt and Mate! they tried there absolute hardest to get out there and find the fish but tough conditions made it impossible. we did mangage to end up with a great bunch of yellow tail for the box. Would recommend this charter for anyone looking to book in this area.

Captain Brian and Cody were great! They worked their butts off and put us on the fish. Brian spotted birds way off multiple times and we capitalized with some Mahi. I would definitely recommend going on this charter if you want to get on the fish.

My family of four had a great time out with Captain Brian and first mate Cody. We fished along the grass flats and caught - 15 Mangrove snapper keepers, 1 Bonnethead shark, 1 puffer fish, over a dozen smaller bait fish. The crew were great with my 10 and 6 year old boys. The crew also fileted our snappers, which we then had perfectly cooked at the Key fisheries. We would highly recommend!!

i cant say how happy we are!! trip of a life time. two man limit of mahi. crew was awesome. 

We had a great time for a Father's Day trip with Brian and Cody. The crew worked hard to put us on the fish and make sure that we had a great trip. I would recommend them for anyone looking for a great experience. My only complaint was actually with Fishing Booker and not because of Johnny Maddox. I would think most trips would be shared and Fishing Booker has no option to partially pay for the trip so everyone can pay in advance. That simple fix would help greatly. Luckily the captain was good about splitting the trip on the morning of our trip, but would be nice to have everyone pay in advance through Fishing Booker.

My Dad, Fiancée and I had an awesome day on the water with Captain Brian and Nick! The day started running offshore for dolphin, and even though the conditions in the morning were a little rough, Brian and Nick were able to put us on the fish! Once the bite slowed offshore, we headed to the reef and flatlined for yellowtail snapper. We filled the box with a bunch of snapper, along with our 4 dolphin. We even caught and released a goliath grouper! It was an amazing day on the water thanks to Brian and Nick! They know how to find the fish and are great at showing how to operate the gear. We would recommend this charter any day!

Capt Brian and first mate Nick did a great job adapting to a rapidly changing weather forecast that put most other boats back in the harbor. The 31’ boat can handle wind and waves well and Capt Brian is a very experienced fisherman who knew where and how to setup and execute a successful plan in tough conditions. We caught a limit of fish and were able to battle a shark for a release. Hats off to them for making a fun day of fishing out of a challenging weather day. Can’t wait to fish with them when seas are calm and we can go offshore and hunt the big game of the sea.
