Naples Backwater Fishing Charters
Naples Backwater Fishing Charters specializes in light tackle inshore fishing adventures in Naples and Marco Island. Join Captain Ben Geroy and enjoy some of the finest backwater fishing that Southwest Florida has to offer.
Check the bite on a half-day adventure in the backwaters or get the waters all to yourselves on a full-day trip. Fish with light tackle, go for spinning, test yourself in jigging, or try fly fishing. Before you make your first cast, Capt. Ben will guide you through the basics. Just tell him which fishing methods you’d like to try!
Capt. Ben will work hard to put you on top of the hot bite. On your day out, you will be able to take a lot of fish species off your personal Southwest Florida bucket list. Go after the ’Silver King’ Tarpon when the season allows or target toothy Sheepshead. Get a healthy dose of Redfish, Snook, and Black Drum. Chase Jack Crevalle and Mangrove Snapper, or catch Goliath Grouper.
Or try something different and target Lemon, Bull, and Blacktip Shark. Kids love Shark trips!
Just hop onboard a 23’ custom-built Atlas Boatworks bay boat, designed specifically for guided fishing in Southwest Florida. Its single 200 HP Mercury 4-stroke engine will power up to 2 anglers to the hottest grounds in the area in comfort and style. The boat is very light for its size, which allows it to run and float in very shallow water.
The boat is outfitted with modern electronics and professional tools to save your time while searching for fish. You will be able to relax in padded, swiveling seats. All aboard!
All trips come with a license, bait, tackle, gear, and a cooler with ice. You will only need to bring your own drinks, food, and appropriate clothing.
