Great trip with Outdoor Adventures! Capt Bill was awesome!

Our guide was phenomenal and knowledgeable. He felt like a friend instead of a guide. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a fishing guide in this area. We had a bass fishing trip. The boat held two and the guide. My father and I relived our fishing days when I was growing up. We were successful and caught many different fish.

although we didnt catch a lot of fish due to conditions and our trip coinciding with a large tournament which put a lot of pressure on the fish, we had a good day on the water. Captain Bill brought us to several spots and happily shared his knowledge of the lake.

Capt Bill was great to fish with. He is a good communicator and was flexible with our starting time. His boat and electronics were top notch and I caught my personal best Bass.

Captain Bill was EXACTLY what we needed! My friend and I came down to South Carolina to learn about fishing the renown Lake Marion. Captain Bill gave us a seasons worth of information in a single day. We learned where the Bass were likely to be and three different approaches to catching them. Captain Bill broke techniques down in easy to understand bits of information that both respected our base knowledge and added much more to it. With this knowledge, we feel that the rest of our time here will be SO much more productive than if we just tried to figure it out for ourselves. Lake Marion is unique for many reasons, you can ask Captain Bill about it, or just read about it online. That being said, you really should consider using a guide to get you started, and for my money Captain Bill is the one to use. Oh...and beyond all that.... WE CAUGHT FISH!!!...a bunch of them, and a couple really good size ones as well. I highly recommend Captain Bill for your Lake Marion fishing excursion!!!

Captain Bill was the best. Before the trip, he promptly responded to my inquiries about places to stay, where we would meet and fishing reports. The morning of our trip was cold but we caught a few fish and captain kept trying new spots. We saw a number of MLF fisherman out scouting the lake and captain answered my many questions about tournament fishing. I had a great time and will definitely contact Captain Bill next time I get the chance to fish Santee Cooper.

This week was my first time ever to Santee. Not knowing the lake I decided it was best to book a guided trip to find out where the fish are, and get some navigating advice, being that Lake Marion is a shallow lake with lots of hidden trees and stumps. After booking the trip, Bill contacted me immediately to talk about the trip. I told him that I was down for the week and that 2 of my sons were coming down a couple of days after me, and we would spend the week fishing together; and I really wanted the trip to be a memorable trip for the 3 of us. Captain Bill went above and beyond in teaching me about the lake and showing me where and how to find fish. The pictures say it all!! If you’re ever in the area and looking for a successful guide, Bill is your man!! He’s easy to talk to (I felt like I had known him for years); has an immense knowledge of the lake, and knows where to find fish! You can spend a lot of money and time trying to locate the fish, or you can pay a small fee and have the best time of your life!! Believe me, he’s worth every penny, just to glean from his many years of experience as a professional angler!! Thanks Bill!! I will definitely be seeing you again my friend!!

Excellent fishing trip Just moved down to SC. Captain Bill was amazing. He was patient and taught me bass fishing techniques. I caught my personal best over 4.5 pounds. It was a good day caught over 11 fish between us.

Capt. Bill was great. A total learning experience. I hope to catch more bass in the future since learning more techniques from Capt. Bill.
