With a variety of fishing grounds and species, it’s hard to decide what counts as the most desirable trophy. That is why your Captain lets his guests speak their mind and does the best he can to make their wishes come true.
The trip starts on a 25’ southern cross made by carolina yachts that accommodates up to 6 guests. The boat has been recently restored and features a 300
HP Suzuki engine and modern navigational electronics. Offering a safe and comfortable ride at all times, this skiff will get you right where you need to be.
Flats, wrecks, reefs, and backcountry - everything bursts with fish, so you won’t make a mistake whatever you choose. But if you already know what type of fish you want to catch, or have a specific technique in mind, let the captain know. You can go after Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and Redfish, all the way to Red Snapper, Mackerel, and Amberjack.
All trips are family-friendly, so feel free to bring your kids along. Novices are welcome too and there’s no reason to hesitate coming, just because you’ve never fished before.

We booked a 3/4-day trip with Swan Point Charters, and it exceeded every expectation. Captain Jeffrey worked hard from start to finish, making sure we stayed on fish all day. We started by catching live bait and then headed out to target bigger species. The action was nonstop. We landed cobia, grouper, barracuda, and amberjack, with plenty of opportunities throughout the trip. The captain’s knowledge of the local waters and ability to find productive spots was impressive. Every move he made seemed to put us right back on the fish. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and all of the gear was top-notch. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just looking for a great day on the water, Swan Point Charters delivers a first-class experience. Captain Jeffrey is professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone is included in the trip from the youngest to the oldest.
My wife and I don't get to get out often, but this was the absolute best use of our time and one of our Top 3 dates yet. The Captain was excellent company, and an excellent teacher (I've only fished once or twice ever). We ended up catching 7 fish, 4 for my wife and 3 for me, took em home and made a recipe from Jeffrey's advice. We will absolutely be doing this again and I would strongly recommend others to goout with them as well.
Had a fantastic 3/4 day trip with Swan Point Charters out of Morehead City. The captain and first mate were both extremely helpful, professional, and worked hard all day to keep everyone on fish. We caught a ton of fish and had steady action throughout the trip. The boat was large, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the equipment/tackle provided was high quality. You could tell they take pride in running a first-class operation. Great experience overall for both experienced anglers and families. Highly recommend Swan Point Charters if you’re looking for a fun offshore trip with a hardworking crew and a quality boat.
We went shark fishing. Captain Jeffery did an excellent job of putting us on the fish. We caught four sharks on a morning charter. We also had good conversation along the way. Great communication as he contacted us prior to the trip to find out what type of trip we wanted, provided basic information, and answered pre-trip questions I would highly recommend. We would book again with Swan Point Charters.
We had bever done anything like this before. We had my wife and I and 2 fourteen year old boys who love to fish. Captian Jeffrey made the experianve great. The boys caught 22 fish on a 2 hour charter and actually probably hooked another 15 or so but lost them reeling them in. My wife and i enjoyed the boat ride too. We will make this part of our vacation plans permanently.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
