I booked with Capt Gaskill because I really wanted to see my son catch his first bull red and focus on reds. Capt Gaskill listened and understood the limitations of his crew. To top it off we faced some last minute nasty winds and rains in the forecast. Capt delivered up a solid fishing plan to keep the kids dry and comfortable and went out of his way to still put us on bull reds. Capt enthusiastically answered my questions about the fishery in the area and inshore patterns of these big NC reds. As an added bonus My son got his first bull red and my wife and sister both got C&R citation bull reds. Highly recommend Capt. Jeff Gaskill and we’re looking forward to the next trip!

We booked a 3/4-day trip with Swan Point Charters, and it exceeded every expectation. Captain Jeffrey worked hard from start to finish, making sure we stayed on fish all day. We started by catching live bait and then headed out to target bigger species. The action was nonstop. We landed cobia, grouper, barracuda, and amberjack, with plenty of opportunities throughout the trip. The captain’s knowledge of the local waters and ability to find productive spots was impressive. Every move he made seemed to put us right back on the fish. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and all of the gear was top-notch. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just looking for a great day on the water, Swan Point Charters delivers a first-class experience. Captain Jeffrey is professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone is included in the trip from the youngest to the oldest.

We had an awesome time. The youngest in our party got his sea legs real quick. Captain Jeffrey was patient with him, as well as the adults. Beautiful day, water was a little choppy because of the storm that had paused. They had fun on their birthday. Again thank you Captain Jeffrey you made my son's day. We will definitely book another outing with him.

My wife and I don't get to get out often, but this was the absolute best use of our time and one of our Top 3 dates yet. The Captain was excellent company, and an excellent teacher (I've only fished once or twice ever). We ended up catching 7 fish, 4 for my wife and 3 for me, took em home and made a recipe from Jeffrey's advice. We will absolutely be doing this again and I would strongly recommend others to goout with them as well.

We (my dad, 4 year old, and me) had a very fun and productive fishing trip on Memorial Day. Jeffrey avoided the boat traffic and put us on the fish almost instantly. We caught a cooler full of bluefish and spanish mackerel and even threw 10+ smaller slot fish back to grow for next year. Highly recommend this for a near shore experience the entire family will enjoy! He even cleaned our fish and gave us an awesome recipe. We will repeat next year!

We had bever done anything like this before. We had my wife and I and 2 fourteen year old boys who love to fish. Captian Jeffrey made the experianve great. The boys caught 22 fish on a 2 hour charter and actually probably hooked another 15 or so but lost them reeling them in. My wife and i enjoyed the boat ride too. We will make this part of our vacation plans permanently.

Great sunset trip, although we didn’t have any luck catching any fish, we all really enjoyed ourselves and had a great time! The scenery and sunset was beautiful. Our captain was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We got lost trying to find the location of the charter boat and he went out of his way to locate us and picked us up by boat! We highly recommended Swan Point Charter.

My son and I took a half day trip this past Sunday. I take pleasure in saying they were very knowledgeable and even though it was a tough morning, we went after a storm the night before, he was still able to get us hooked on some fish and they did everything they could to make it enjoyable. We got some blues and a slot red fish . I would highly recommend .

Huge thanks to Captain Gaskill for putting us on the fish within minutes of leaving the dock! We caught over a dozen bluefish and two Spanish mackerel during an awesome evening on the water. To top it all off, the sunset on the ride back was absolutely incredible. Thanks again, Captain Gaskill, for a fantastic sunset fishing trip and great memories! 🎣🌅

Thought we were going to the ocean leaving from Morehead City Ocean front; however, the night before the location to meet was changed to Newport and we fished in the Inner Coastal waterway. We caught three large blues to keep and the Captain cleaned them for us. We also caught one beautiful large Red Drum, that we had to release. Great Captain and nice boat. Just wish we went to the coast.
