Black Drum, Bluefish, Skipjack, Flounder, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Redfish, Black Seabass, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Weakfish, and more can be found in these waters if conditions are right. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Spencer can also have you Flounder gigging.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll be fishing aboard a 21' KenCraft 215 Challenger center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.

If you book with Flyin Tide Charters you won't be disappointed. He communicates quickly and makes sure you have all details of the location and what you need. Captain Spencer goes out of his way to get to know you and what you are looking for on your trip. He is very knowledgeable and is easy to have a conversation with. He doesn't give up and even if the weather is off a little he works very hard to find fish for you. I can definitely say that our yearly trip to NC will include a charter with Flyin Tide and Captain Spencer. Just a great all around person and Captain.
Kids all got turns reeling in fish and adults had fun too trying to reel in a spinner shark. beautiful sunset evening with some early July 4th fireworks. Captain was courteous and professional and very knowledgeable. We had a great time.
Very nice captain and had great tips for fishing. Exciting to catch a shark and stingrays. This was a trip for my son and his friends who just graduated from high school/ and everyone had a time to remember.
This was our first charter trip anf we haf so much fun. Captain was knowledgeable and made sure we all had fun. Such a great experience. Would definitely book again
Highly recommend this captain and his boat very enjoyable day on the water. We caught a lot of fish. The captain knew right where to take us to catch fish. Five stars.
