He had me on fish all day and even spent time teaching which I really enjoyed. I went solo and he was a great guy to spend 6 hrs with. It felt like hanging with one of my own fishing buddies. I didn’t bring my kids but have no doubt he would be great with kiddos on the charter. If I’m ever back in Jacksonville I will definitely book another charter either way Joe! Thanks for a great day.

8 Hour Full Day on April 11, 2025 • 2 adultsCapt. Joe is a cool guy. My buddy and I went on an 8hr trip and caught several species with plenty of keepers. Due to the weather, we weren't able to do an offshore trip as planned so It wasn't the best fishing day I've ever had, but Joe worked hard to make sure we had a great time and stayed in the action despite the fish not biting as well as we would've liked. Joe is patient and laid back and you can tell the he really loves fishing. It's not just a business, but something he puts his heart and soul into. He's got cool gadgets and a clear knowledge of the area's fishing. I look forward to going out again with Set Em Up and taking my 8 year old son next time. I would recommend Set Em Up for beginners or experienced anglers.

He even took the time to teach our sons how to clean the fish and made sure everything was taken care of. To top it off, he recommended a local restaurant that would cook our day’s catch.
