Rainbow Charters is a 4th generation charter fishing business that has been operating out of Ponce Inlet, FL for more than 50 years. They offer a range of fishing trips, starting at a 4-hour day trip, up to a 12-hour adventure for hard-core anglers.
Captain Scott's goal is to provide you with a memorable experience no matter what your fishing skills are. His excellent first mate is skilled at assisting the guest anglers with whatever help they need, to make their day a fun and successful day.
You will be fishing on a 39' deep-sea fishing vessel with a 450 HP Turbo Diesel Cummins engine. The Rainbow II is a sturdy, seaworthy vessel that will provide a safe, enjoyable fishing trip. She is equipped with GPS, fish finders, tackle, rods&reels, bait, outriggers, on-board bathroom, seating for all passengers, and safety equipment.
Go after Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Snapper, Mackerel, Amberjack, Barracuda, and Sailfish among other species. Offshore trips can take you as far as 50 miles off the coast, so you'll have the chance to target the biggest fish the Gulf offers.
Everything is included in the price except for your personal snacks, lunches, and beverages. Make sure to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, non-slip footwear, and a hat. If you think you might get seasick, think ahead and get some meds. Remember the camera to catch those special shots!

This was the first time ocean fishing for the rest of my family (my third trip), and Captain Scott and First Mate Jeremy made it one we'll never forget. We booked a 4-hour charter, but we were having such an amazing time that I asked Captain Scott if we could extend it another 2 hours. He happily accommodated us, and I'm so glad he did! Captain Scott kept putting us right on the fish all day long. We caught amberjack, barracuda, bonita, king mackerel, and red snapper! We had to release the amberjack because it was too small and the red snapper because it was out of season, but that didn't take away from the excitement at all. Jeremy was phenomenal. He was constantly moving from rod to rod, making sure everyone was taken care of. There were several times we had doubles hooked up, and he never missed a beat! He was especially amazing with our three kids (ages 14, 14, and 7). He was patient, encouraging, and took the time to explain exactly what they needed to do while reeling in their fish. Watching our kids gain confidence and have so much fun was one of the highlights of the trip. Beyond the fishing, Captain Scott shared some great stories that made the experience even more enjoyable. It felt like spending the day with people who genuinely love what they do and want you to have the best time possible. If you're looking for a charter, don't hesitate to book with Rainbow Charters. 10 Hour Trip – Deep Fishing on September 13, 2026 • 5 adultsHad a great day out on a calm ocean, we caught around 30 meaningful sized fish. Mainly King Mackerel, some Barracuda and a few Red Snappers. The Captain was great at putting us where we needed to be and the first mate was really good with all of us and was constantly setting the rods and bringing aboard our catch. We had to return early because we ran out of bait, the fish were biting all day long.

4 Hour Trip - 1:00 PM on July 10, 2026 • 6 adultsGreat time on the water. The crew was so helpful and insightful on just about anything you could ask them. Had a blast.. started off trolling for barracuda, after catching a couple good kingfish and cuda we decided to try out shark fishing. So much fun and so much fight, landed a ton of great sized sharks but the best part came after that. Right at the end of our trip something huge took our bait… turned out to be roughly a 15 foot 500+ pound sawfish. Highly Highly recommend to all experience levels. Great time with the family and the crew.

The weather was perfect. Jarred was the best 1st mate, he was very attentive and busy the whole time baiting the poles as we reeled them in! We caught alot of king mackerel and barracuda. It was a great time and we would definitely recommend booking with them. Thank you so much for a wonderful day, thanks to you both my daughter had a wonderful birthday.

Captain was constantly trying to get us on the fish and Jared did an outstanding job of talking to us and being everywhere he needed to be. We were a large group of 6 and they still worked their butts off to make sure we had a great time. The boat was setup great and was super comfortable. Great ride out and back in! Book a trip with Captain Scott and Jared you won’t regret it. We will definitely book again with them.
