Right Side Charters - Venice
Right Side Charters operates out of Venice, Louisiana and offers interesting fishing trips near the shore. Captain James Kennedy will show you the beauty of Lake Pontchartrain and the surrounding marsh, as well as inshore and nearshore waters.
Your ride will be a 24’ Blazer Bay boat which can sit up to 4 people. It’s powered by a 300 HP Mercury engine and is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio systems for safe navigation and communication. It also has a wireless trolling motor, and livewell.
Captain James will guide you to inshore, nearshore, and lake spots where the chances to catch are the biggest. You’ll be searching for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and Largemouth Bass. Using light tackle, you’ll be able to try out many techniques, including bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, and drift fishing. The captain will let you keep your catch, but you can also release it back to the water. He also loves hanging around with children so be free to bring youngsters with you.
Included in the price are TFO rods, Penn reels, lures, as well as light snacks, water, and sports drinks. If you’d like something more to eat or drink, be sure to pack it before you go. The last thing you’ll need are fishing licenses.
