Captain Dan Stewart of Chromeseekers invite you to wonderful river trips in Detroit and Lake St Clair. Captain Dan is a lifelong angler who welcomes everybody, from complete beginners to seasoned anglers. Join him and have a great time fishing.
Captain Dan uses a 24’ Hewescraft Ocean Pro fishing boat that’s powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine. It’s got enough space for up to 6 guests and is equipped with GPS, a heater, fishfinder, and radio communication systems which help you get to the fish safely and fast.
You and Captain Dan will have an exciting time chasing the local bounty – Walleye. The captain is an expert in jigging and if you’re new to the world of fishing, he’ll teach you everything you need to know so you can start targeting fish yourself. And if you already have some experience, he’ll be happy to have you perfect your skills. You can keep all the fish you catch and take it home so you can have some meals.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price. The captain can also clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip, although he would be grateful if you gave him a tip. Pack your licenses, favorite food, and drinks, and you’re all set for the journey. A Canadian license is needed for the Detroit River.

Had a Great time today out on Detroit River we maxed out our walleye fish count, captain Dan was phenomenal and very knowledgeable. He was able to put us on fish almost immediately. I Had family visiting from out of town and I wanted to show them a good time so I booked a last minute fishing trip, which was a success! Thanks To Captain DAN, he’s the MAN!! I will definitely be booking him again in the future

I wanted my brother from NC to get a taste of the Walleye experience and we fully achieved that. The crew was experienced and prompt in every aspect of the trip. Notably the boat was of good size and power which accommodated a comfortable ride. Will refer and charter again.

If you're looking for a great captain with loads of experience. Outfishing the other captains in Michigan you're choosing the right charter. Great experience, plus lots of help when you need it. Great stories and memories were made for decades to come. Would highly recommend to a friend.

We had such a good time! Captain Dan (that's what we called him) is very knowledgeable and passionate about fishing. My family had tons of questions for him and he answered them all. Captain Dan made us feel safe, and knew his way around. This was our first time on this type of boat trip and we LOVED it!!! The fish we caught, Captain Dan stored, filet them and bagged them for us. Captain Dan Stewart has been fishing for as long as he can remember. From SE Michigan to NW Michigan, we have a boat for everything. As a result, he knows all the hiding spots for favorites including Steelhead, Chinook, Coho Salmon and walleye throughout the state of Michigan. He'll easily accommodate both experienced anglers and novices and looks forward to giving his guests a welcome escape to nature. You will have such a great time with Captain Dan that you will be booking other trips the rest of the year around the great state of Michigan. My season starts in the Nw for Steelhead. In Mid April I move to the Detroit River for walleye. In May I move to the St Clair river for walleye. When Lake St Clair heats up I move over there. Around Mid June I end the walleye fishing and move back to the Nw chasing a variety of fish. We fish crystal lake and all other inland lakes near by. We are also fishing Lake Michigan for Salmon and Trout. We follow the salmon up river then back to steelhe
