Have a great fishing experience with Aquatic Escapes on the rich and beautiful waters of Tampa Bay. Captain Jarrod Wallach is a second-generation captain who'll make sure you have an unforgettable journey. Come to Tampa, Florida and enjoy fishing inshore and nearshore while exploring reefs, wrecks, flats, as well as the backcountry.
Captain Jarrod and you will use his 25' Sportsman bay boat that runs on a Yamaha 250 HP engine. Inshore trips carry up to 6 people as a family group, usually three or four adults plus two or three kids, and everyone fishes at once. Tarpon and Shark trips are capped at 4 anglers. The boat has quality navigation electronics and is rigged with snorkeling equipment and a livewell. It features a multimedia system, wireless trolling motor, and 2 Yeti coolers.
Many interesting spots await you inshore, such as the flats, mangroves, docks, bridges, and rock piles in Tampa Bay. You can chase many different species here, such as Redfish, Snook, Snapper, Tripletail, Flounder, and Spanish Mackerel. You'll be using light tackle and fish by trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, bottom fishing, and drift fishing. Kids are welcome if they are 6 or older. You're free to keep your catch and take it home.
Captain Jarrod will provide you with all the gear and licenses, as well as clean and fillet your fish. Tips are not expected but are always appreciated. No food is provided on any trip. There is extra bottled water on board, so just pack your own drinks and some sun protection. Drinks in cans only - no glass bottles on the boat. A first mate is on board for almost every trip, baiting hooks, tying lines, netting your fish, and making sure everyone has a cold drink in hand.
If you have a large party, Captain Jarrod and the local captains can organize a large trip with multiple boats. They can even create a small tournament for you!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Aquatic Escapes and Captain Jarrod Wallach! From start to finish, the trip was smooth, fun, and unforgettable. Captain Jarrod really knows his stuff—he put us right on the fish and made sure everyone on board had a great time, whether you were an experienced angler or brand new to fishing. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Jarrod’s energy and knowledge of the water made the whole day exciting, and his patience and sense of humor kept everyone relaxed and having fun. We caught plenty of fish and came away with memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re looking for an all-day fishing charter that’s both professional and personal, I can’t recommend Aquatic Escapes and Captain Jarrod enough. We’ll definitely be booking again!
Captain Jarrod and First Mate Aiden were terrific and very knowledgeable about the waters and regional species of fish. The day of our trip was very windy and the rough waters kept us closer inshore than planned but Jarrod quickly adapted to the conditions and put us on Spanish Mackerel, Snook, Ladyfish and we even caught a very large puffer! We had a great time all around and highly recommend Aquatic Escapes

Took my Brother and Sister In-Laws on this trip. They have never caught so my fish before on any other trip they have been on. lol they don't fish as much as I do. But I loved this new boat, and we had enough drinks and food to last the whole day! The fish we took home and cooked some of it that night. So, so good! The rest of the fish we froze it! Awesome trip, I'll be going again soon

- Fishing license (No license needed! All anglers are covered under Captain Jarrod's Florida charter boat license.)
