The boat you'll use is a 25' Sportsman bay boat with enough room for 6 anglers. It runs on a 250 HP Yamaha engine, uses modern navigation electronics, and is equipped with snorkeling gear and a livewell. You'll have a first mate at your disposal and you can use the onboard coolers.
The species you and the captain will chase are Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon, King Mackerel, Gag Grouper, Redfish, Shark, and many more. You'll attract your prey by light tackle bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, as well as drift fishing. You can keep the fish you catch and you can bring kids on board if they are at least 6 years old.

We had a great and fun day on the water. My Nephew and niece went with me and they had never been fishing. I really enjoyed their faces when they caught a fish. Plus the boat operator was supper cool. Made it for a great day!
We went out in the midst of the red tide issues in Tampa and Capt Jarod took the time to scout out some safe areas and put us on a crazy school is Spanish Mackerel that kept us bending the rod all day!

From as early as I can remember, my dad had me on a boat with a fishing rod in my hands. At first, I was simply excited to have bait on my hook and hang out with my dad. As I grew up the fish got bigger and bigger… and I was hooked! Growing up in New York, we would fish for Fluke, Flounder, Strippers & Cod in the winter. We would also enter the occasional Shark fishing tournament. Fishing was, and still remains, a huge part of my life and it gave my father and me the time we needed to bond, before he unexpectedly left us in 2006. It was always my father's dream to retire and use his captain's license to open a charter business. Every day, I strive to keep his legacy alive.
