Fire Hatt Sportfishing Charters
Fire Hatt Sportfishing Charters has a number one priority, which is commitment to customer service. The boat and the charter service got their names as Capt. Chuck is a retired Chief in the Fire Department in California. He spent most of his spare time fishing and decided to commit to it fully after retirement.
Your fishing trip will take place only a few miles offshore and there’s no need to go further, as the fish and bait are found up close to the Island in many cases. Speaking of that, you start fishing the minute you leave the Harbor. A half mile offshore it can be 2.000 feet deep and the captain has caught Marlin and Tuna within that distance. No long runs to the fishing grounds - you are fishing the entire time out! If you get one of those flat glassy days, going a few miles offshore to get in the Porpoise schools for Ahi or find your very own “floater” is always on the agenda.
You’ll be fishing on a 43’ Hatteras that accommodates up to 6 guests. The boat is in immaculate condition and features twin 550 HP Detroit engines. To make the whole experience more efficient and comfortable, there’s also a private toilet, a galley, a bedroom, and a flybridge.
The captain will provide you with Shimano rods and reels in a variety of sizes, from light tackle to 130 Tiagra’s. There’s also bottled water in the cooler but feel free to bring other beverages and snacks.
Fire Hatt Sportfishing Charters offer only private trips when you and your group have the whole boat to yourselves. Pick one of many available trips and start your adventure.
