Wild Bill Sportfishing runs offshore fishing trips out of Key West. Whether you want to explore the Gulf waters or the Atlantic side of Florida coast, you got it. Will Bill Sportfishing is exactly the type of charter you need to scout around these fisheries. With an experienced captain, a stable big boat, and rich waters around reefs and further out, your day will be a spot on.

At the helm of the Wild Bill Sportfishing you will find Captain Art. He started fishing at the age of three, and has been exploring the waters of Key West for over 18 years. Wild Bill has been cruising and running fishing trips for over a decade. Capt. Art has tested the waterways from Alaska to Costa Rica in his sport fishing career. He and his First Mate Stevie have worked together for over 13 years, catering to anglers of all skillsets, from novices to accomplished professionals.

Wild Bill is a 34’ Crusader powered by 350HP Cummins engine with a maximum passenger capacity of six anglers. The boat is furnished with standard navigational and fish finding technology, including a Garmin GPS, fish finder and VHF radio. It features a toilet on board, as well as outriggers, a live bait well, and a fighting chair.

Depending on the season, you’ll be able to target a variety of offshore forage, including Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Marlin, Sailfish and many others.

The local reefs and wrecks also provide lots of sportfishing potential, dominated by Barracuda, Mackerel, Jacks, sharks and a large Snapper and Grouper variety. Shark fishing trips can also be made available per request.

The captain will supply all the necessary gear. On board tackle mainly consists of rods and reels by Penn International, Shimano as well as Ugly Stick, with several custom rods available as well. Artificial bait as well as live bait (if available) are included in the price, along with complimentary filleting of the fish you catch. Bring a camera, pack snacks, drinks and food. Lets have a fun day out on the water!

🎣 Exceptional Day on the 🎣 Exceptional Day on the Water
Half Day Trip (AM) on November 26, 20252 adults
We recently took our very first fishing charter with Captain Art and First Mate Jerry, and it was an absolutely stellar experience from start to finish! Though the 'trophy fish' weren't biting out in the open ocean that day, we still had an incredible time landing some awesome catches, including barracuda, white tails, and a snapper. What truly made this charter stand out was the crew. Captain Art skillfully navigated us to the best spots, and First Mate Jerry was phenomenal. As it was my son’s and my first time saltwater fishing, Jerry took the time to patiently explain all the necessary techniques and tips. His expertise and enthusiasm made the entire process fun and educational. They made our inaugural charter the best possible experience. The equipment was great, the boat was comfortable, and the service was top-notch. We will definitely be booking with Captain Art and First Mate Jerry again! Highly recommend them for anyone, especially first-timers!

What a great day on the water with Art and Jerry!
Half Day Trip (AM) on November 23, 20254 adults
We had such a wonderful time on the boat. We had myself, my husband, father and our 13-year-old son. We chose reef fishing (over trophy sail fishing) so we could all enjoy the fun. Captain Art took us out and trolled the reef. First mate Jerry was so lovely to be with and worked hard our entire 4-hour trip. He was always checking and adjusting every line and getting us ready once we had a hit. We ended up with two huge groupers and lots of mutton Snappers, yellowtail, mackrel and a few feisty barracudas! Jerry cleaned all the fish and we had fun feeding the tarpon at the dock. Overall a fantastic trip, would highly recommend them!

Great Day Fishing with Captain Art and Mate Jerry!
3/4 Day Trip on December 28, 20254 adults
Our group of 4 had a great day of fishing! Art and Jerry took us all around the reef. Jerry was exeptionally skilled at hooking fish. We managed to reel some in along with some vegetables - we caught Grouper, Snapper, Mackerel, Lizard Fish, Barracuda, Yellow Jack and seaweed. Boat did not sink, beer was drunk, and only one ego was harmed. We really had a great time and a big thanks to Captain Art and Mate Jerry!

Best time ever with Captain Art and Jerry!
3 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM) on July 25, 20253 adults
Celebrating a birthday and this was the gift that goes down in history as "the best." Enjoyed the fishing but the company of Captain Art and Jerry was simply the best....it is truly a small world and we feel we have gained a couple of new friends and can't wait to go out again and again and again....this time the goal is to "catch the big one!" Highly recommend these two, great conversation and never a dull moment.

Best birthday gift ever!
3 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM) on July 19, 20252 adults
My fiancé booked this charter for me for my birthday. It was my first time fishing saltwater and it was absolutely insane! Black tip shark, a giant barracuda, and enough snapper we had to share some of it at the restaurant! Captain Art and first mate Jerry were clearly professionals, but super down to earth and relatable. I could not have asked for a better birthday gift.
