Wild Bill Sportfishing runs offshore and inshore fishing trips out of Key West. With an experienced captain, a stable big boat, and rich waters around reefs and further out, your day will be a spot on.
At the helm of the Wild Bill Sportfishing you will find Captain Art. He started fishing at the age of three, and has been exploring the waters of Key West for over 35 years. Capt. Art has tested the waterways from Alaska to Costa Rica in his sport fishing career. He and his First Mate have over 40 years combined fishing Key West waters. We cater to anglers of all skillsets, from novices to accomplished professionals.
Wild Bill is a 34' Crusader powered by 350HP Cummins engine with a maximum passenger capacity of six anglers. The boat is furnished with standard navigational and fish finding technology, including a Garmin GPS, fish finder and VHF radio. It features a toilet on board, as well as outriggers, a live bait well, and a fighting chair.
Depending on the season, you'll be able to target a variety of offshore forage, including Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Marlin, Sailfish and many others.
The local reefs and wrecks also provide lots of sportfishing potential, dominated by Barracuda, Mackerel, Jacks, sharks and a large Snapper and Grouper variety. Shark fishing trips can also be made available per request.
The captain will supply all the necessary gear. On board tackle mainly consists of rods and reels by Penn International, Shimano as well as Ugly Stick, with several custom rods available as well. Bait and license are included in the price, along with complimentary filleting of the fish you catch. Bring a camera, pack snacks, drinks and food. Lets have a fun day out on the water!

Our family had an absolutely amazing experience with Wild Bill Sport Fishing! From the moment we stepped aboard, the captain and crew made us feel welcome, safe, and excited for the day ahead. Their knowledge of the local waters was incredible, and they worked hard to make sure everyone in our family had the opportunity to catch fish and enjoy the experience. They were patient with those who were new to fishing, encouraging throughout the trip, and genuinely committed to making it a fun and memorable adventure for everyone. Beyond the great fishing, what stood out most was the outstanding customer service. The crew was professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. Took my friends kids and my 7 year old son on Wild Bill’s boat, the crew was super great with kids showing them what he was doing, talking to them, letting them handle the bait fish. We all ended up catching a variety of fish and the crew did such a great job showing the kids the fish, taking great pictures, and telling them about what they caught and interesting facts about each type of fish we caught. They also gave my boy a shark’s jaw from a previous trip as a keeps sake! When I come back to Key West, I’ll be fishing with Wild Bill’s crew!
El regalo sorpresa de dia se pesca en Key West por el cumpleaños de nuestro hijo Alonso resultó perfecto: el trabajo del Capitán y del Marinero Gerry que no descansó un minuto para asegurar que en todo momento los cebos y aparejos estuvieran colocados en las mejores condiciones para el exito en la captura . Mis hijos disfrutaron muchísimo y pescamos 9 piezas , de las cuales un wahoo y un mahi mahi de 8 kg!!! Nos limpiaron y prepararon el pescado y pudimos degustar despues una comida fabulosa de nuestras capturas . Día redondo!!
I surprised my boyfriend with a fishing trip for his birthday, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! We were out on the water by 7:26 AM and had a barracuda on the line before 8:25 AM — the action started fast and never slowed down. Art & Jerry made the entire experience unforgettable. Their energy, knowledge, and hospitality made for such a fun and memorable morning on the water. We’re already talking about coming back again! And the best part? Fresh mahi mahi for dinner tonight!
Captain Art was great, ge kept in contact with us through booking process, listened to what we were looking for and knew just what a couple of novice fisherman needed and provided lots of action.
