Explore the backcountry of Goodland with Strip Set Charters! Right next to Ten Thousand Islands aquatic preserve and at the gates of the Everglades national park, you’ll find yourself in the heart of Floridian wilderness. Join Captain Adam for a day and let him show you the beauties of the area. He’s been guiding fishing trips for over 14 years and has a long line of happy guests that return each year. Learn something new and catch the fish you’ve always wanted.
You’ll be fishing on an 18’ Maverick boat that accommodates up to 2 guests. The boat is powered by a Yamaha engine and wireless trolling motor, has GPS, and a live bait tank. Kids are welcome to join and it’s recommended to inform the captain of their age, so he can prepare life vests in the right sizes.
Using light tackle and fly fishing gear, you’ll go after Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon, Permit, Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and many more. You can release the catch or choose to keep it. In case you’re looking forward to a fish meal, the captain will clean and fillet your catch, free of charge.
All fishing equipment and licenses are included in the price. There’s also bottled water on the boat but feel free to bring other beverages and snacks. Don’t forget your hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

Fun day on the water
Although we didn’t have much success hooking tarpon, we did see and we’re able to cast to several. One nice strike but no set, my fault. Cpt Adam was professional, helpful, knowledgeable and good company.

Fantastic day!!
Captain Adam is great! Very nice, easy going, & knowledgeable. I would absolutely book again. We caught a good amount of sea trout, lady fish, and even a sail cat. Great experience, highly recommend. Looking forward to getting on the water with captain Adam again in the future!

3/4 Day Trip with Adam
Took my father out fishing with Adam and had a great time exploring the backwaters chasing snook and snapper. We traveled quite a ways south of Goodland and fished 5 or 6 spots hard during our 6hr trip to find fish. One spot was hot for snapper and another was loaded up with snook. Boat motor was having some intermittent motor issues with a fuel line that slowed us down a bit, but Adam assured us he's fixing that. When we were finished he filleted our snapper which we had fried up at Mangos in Marco and was delicious. Fun time all around, thank you!
