For an exciting inshore adventure, get in touch with Chasin Em Down Fishing Charters! Captain Mike has been fishing in the area his whole life and knows the best ways to help you fill out your buckets with fish. Whether you're a beginner angler or you already have tons of fish under your belt, you'll have a great time on this boat.
You'll be fishing on a 22 advenger that accommodates up to 4 guests. The boat is powered by a 250 yamaha engine and has all necessary safety and navigational gear. Light and fast, this reliable boat will take you to your fishing spot in no time.
The main targets of the day are Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder, but you can also land Black Drum and Largemouth Bass. Let the captain know if you have any target or technique preferences, so he can adjust the trip to your needs. The captain will share the catch with you at the end of the trip and clean it free of charge.
All fishing equipment is included in the price. Make sure to purchase your fishing license and pack some snacks and drinks for the day. Sun protection is recommended.
All trips are family friendly, so don't hesitate to bring your kids and show them something completely different.

Half Day Fishing with Captain Mike

I took a trip fishing about 10 years ago in the same area and had a blast with my boss. I wanted to do the same thing with my father. We originally had a charter planed for the day before with another captain but a really big front brought gale winds to the area so no fishing as done the day before. We were not hopeful the next day would bring good fishing conditions. Captain Mike did a great job of constantly moving around the area to locate some fish! It was still pretty windy but Captain Mike moved us around and got us on some fish! Great Trip!!!

I booked a trip weeks ago for my husband and his buddies, and unfortunately the other charter service ended up being unavailable on the day we booked for unavoidable reasons. Captain Mike took the last-minute trip (literally the day before) and was very accommodating. It was my husband's birthday surprise and one of his friends came 6 hours from out of town. He seemed to understand how important it was for them to have a great time and they their catch was plentiful. He won't forget this trip and I really am thankful Captain Mike could make it happen.

3rd time coming down to fish in Barataria and it sure didn’t disappoint even with a bad front coming through. Mike put us on the fish and gave us some good suggestions for where to take our catch and get them cooked up after we got done.
