Family Traditions Charter Co.
Explore the lovely waters around Placida in Florida and have a first-class fishing experience with Family Traditions Charter Co. Captain Will Hubbard is a cordial and skilled angler who’ll take you to inshore and nearshore waters and help you make a good catch as well as have lots of fun. Join him and meet Placida’s marine world in a great way.
You’ll fish from a 23’ Hanson center console that’s powered by a 150 HP Suzuki engine. The boat can carry up to 6 anglers. Thanks to its quality GPS, fishfinder, and radio systems, you will reach the fish safely and quickly. The boat uses a wireless trolling motor for a more tactful approach to the fish, is equipped with a fighting chair, and has got a livewell to provide live bait. There will also be a first mate on board to give you any help you might need.
You can chase a variety of fish in this area. There’s Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, King Mackerel, Sheepshead, Snook, as well as many other interesting species. Using light and heavy tackle, you and the captain will catch by trolling and bottom fishing. You can choose the amount of your catch that you will take home, or, if you prefer, you can release it. Kids of all ages are welcome to join aboard and there can be no smoking during the trip.
The captain will cover you with all the fishing equipment you’ll need as well as with licenses. He’ll also clean and fillet your catch so you can easily take it home. What you should bring before you arrive are just some food and drinks.
