Visit Bosstriper Guide Service in Burnet, Texas and treat yourself to a fishing adventure. You'll travel under the expert guidance of Captain Graham Vaandrager and search the best fishing spots in the area for the lovely lake species that roam these waters. Hop aboard and enjoy your fishing trip to the fullest!

Your journey will start on a 21' Everglades center console that can carry up to 6 guests. It runs on a 150 HP Honda engine with a maximum cruising speed of 45 knots. The boat's navigation technology comprises modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio systems. It features a wireless trolling motor, downriggers, a livewell, and an ice-box.

Burnet lakes are home to various prized fish species, some of which are White Bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, and Catfish. You can try out several different techniques to catch them, including bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, as well as drift fishing. All the fish you catch is yours to keep.

Captain Graham will provide you with all the rods, reels, and tackle, as well as with live bait and lures. He'll also clean and fillet your catch at no extra charge. Before you depart, you should bring your licenses, some food, and drinks.

Sucessful Trip

My Fiancée and I had a phenomenal trip with Capt Graham out on Lake Buchannon. We were looking to catch some Stripers and we got on them immediately. We had our bag limit within an hour. Capt Graham with Bosstriper was awesome. If you’re looking for a good time out on the water and you want to catch some good fish, Bosstriper Guide services is the way to go.

Good Trip with Bosstriper

Half Day Trip - 2:30 PM on March 18, 2026 • 4 adults

I booked 2 half-days with Bosstriper this week. There was some booking mixup resulting in Captain Graham being double booked but he quickly made alternate arrangements. On Wednesday afternoon we fished with Captain Chris. The fish we pretty uncooperative but Chris worked hard ad stayed out later than planned and we would up catching 21 stripers (4 anglers), but 11 were slightly undersized throw-backs, so 10 keepers plus 2 white bass. And a lotta fun was had by all.  The next morning we fished with Captain Graham (Sr. AKA Boss). Against he fish were not very cooperative. We sat in one spot for over an hour with the fish finder on fire with fish under the boat.  You could see them inspect baits and swim off.  It was frustrating, but that’s one of the reasons it’s called fishing and not called catching. Again the Captain worked very hard to find us fish that would eat.  They finally turned on somewhat and we came home with 3 stripers, 4 white bass, blue cats and 1 crappie.  Boss worked a full hour and a half longer than we was obligated to in a valiant effort to get us on some hungry fish.  I feel very good recommending Bosstriper Guide Service.

being active duty i dont get to spend much time with my family but this was the best experience ever not just  the fact that we cuaght fish non stop but this man is the real deal  not just a amazing and outstanding guide but person as well it was the one on one conversations that made me and my fmaily feel  comfortable with him its not just bussiness but he makes you feel like fmaily and friends
