Anarchy Fishing Charters provides adventurous fishing trips in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and takes every opportunity to keep its guests on many different fish species throughout the trip. Captain Tanner Kilpatrick has been fishing the waters in this area for a long time and can work the trip around what you prefer to do or catch.
Your trip starts on a 22’ Pro Sport center console that can sit up to 4 anglers. It runs on a twin 115 HP Yamaha engine with a maximum cruising speed of 41 knots. The onboard navigation system is comprised of modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology. The boat also features downriggers, a livewell, and an ice-box.
Fort Walton Beach nearshore and offshore waters along with their reefs and wrecks offer you a wide choice of fish to catch. You can go after Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Grouper, Triggerfish, and many more. You can use many different techniques to catch them as well. Using light or heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, troll, spin, as well as drift fish. Unless you wish to release it, all the fish you catch is yours to keep and take home. The young ones are welcome to join on board, so feel free to bring children on your trip.
When it comes to the things you’ll need for the trip, you’re covered for all the fishing gear, bait, licenses, drinks, and even catch cleaning. This means you’ll only need to pack some food before you depart.
Come visit Fort Walton Beach and have a great time fishing with Anarchy Fishing Charters!

Catch & Release - 4 HR nearshore
Captain Tanner did an excellent job of putting us on the fish. Started the day catching a few bait fish, then off to do some bottom fishing. Caught several ruby reds, a skag grouper and then into the trigger fish. Caught a really nice mangrove snapper, black snapper to some. Ended the day trolling back to the dock and picking up a couple of bonita and even straightened out a hook on a good fish! All around a great day! Would highly recommend captain Tanner for a great day of fishing.

5 Hour Trip – Offshore Trip (AM)
5 hr. Off shore trip with my 11 yr old son and Capt Tanner was awesome! Our son wanted to catch an amberjack and a grouper, two species he had never caught. Capt Tanner put us over a wreck within the first hour of being in the Gulf and Harrison landed a beautiful amberjack! We followed this up with a load of red snapper, including a huge mangrove snapper. The icing on the cake was the red grouper Harrison pulled in near the end of the day. 10 / 10 would recommend this trip!

We had such a fun time on the water with Captain Tanner while in Destin on vacation. The excursion was exciting almost from the moment that we pulled away from the pier. Our time on the boat flew by- we caught so many fish in such a short time (to level-set expectations, I suspect that even Captain Tanner might be the first to admit that our experience was not necessarily the norm). We pulled away from the pier and Captain Tanner started setting out lines to troll on our way out of bay. As he started to explain our plans for the next couple of hours, something hit on the first line and my son reeled in a Spanish Mackerel. That was the start to three hours of CONSTANT fish on and a super exciting morning! Now the boring details that people like to read in reviews: Three Hour Near Shore (catch and release): Myself, 13yo son, Captain Tanner Pros: Caught LOTS of fish Responsiveness Professionalism Friendliness Expertise Cons: None come to mind... Some might consider the boat to be kind of small, but it was perfect for our trip requirements and could have comfortably fit more people. We are from Wisconsin and fish fairly regularly in small, freshwater lakes. My 13yo son really wanted to go deep-sea fishing. However, the cost for a private charter is a bit too steep for me. In addition, my daughter was scared of the idea and I didn't want to give up an entire day of our vacation. I went on FishingBooker and found Anarchy Charters. Not only was the trip short and near-shore, but the price was affordable (and I liked the name). We were leaving in a couple of days, and the weather looked rough, except for the next day. I messaged the Captain on Wednesday evening about possibly going out early the next morning, and he responded very quickly. We confirmed details, and I paid the deposit. He then sent over very detailed instructions on where to meet. The next morning, we found the meeting place easily and Captain Tanner was waiting at the pier (ahead of agreed upon time). We got on the boat and he began to explain some details about the trip, boat, area, fish, etc. As mentioned above, we didn't get very far before he had to pause his introduction to help us start catching fish! He was very knowledgeable about the area and the varieties of fish. Captain Tanner was really friendly and easy to talk to; his demeaner was casual, yet professional. My son and I both felt comfortable asking a million questions and talking about our fishing experiences back home. But honestly, we were often too busy tending to fish on the lines! We stayed fairly close to the shore during our time. However, within the three hours, we saw a nice little tour of the Destin area from the water. We also saw some dolphins and a bunch of jelly fish. We estimated that we caught over two dozen fish during that time. We probably caught at least six different varieties as well. None were huge, but we had that expectation before leaving. We didn't keep any, but got lots of great pictures. It was just fun to catch new and interesting fish that we don't normally see in Wisconsin. The fact that we caught so many, in such a short time, made it way more fun! Captain Tanner was there to help with the lines and releasing the fish, but we got to do the fishing, which was nice. My son had a blast. We both agreed that we would try to book another trip with Anarchy Charters again next year.

Tanner was great. We started catching fish immediately after getting to the spot. He isn’t a big time charter but more like taking your buddy out fishing. We had a great time. I will be making it a yearly trip

It was mid day and slow bite but Captain Tanner still put us on some fish including Spanish Mackerel and some really nice Bonitas. He made bait adjustments as needed and got us where we needed to be. I would 100% go with Captain Tanner next time we are in the area!
