These waters hold game fish like Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Black Drum, Bonito, Cobia, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Blacktip Shark, and more, depending on when and where you go.
Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit are yours to keep. Capt. Shaun can even clean your catch for you. Make sure you have a cooler ready in the car!
Your boat for the day is a 22' Center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask.

Captain Shaun was absolutely awesome. From the start, it felt less like being on a charter with a stranger & more like going out fishing with a friend you’ve known for years. Super knowledgeable, easygoing, funny, & genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. We caught spadefish, mahi mahi, triggerfish, vermilion snapper, & more throughout the trip, and kept us on fish the entire morning. He explained things well, kept the energy up, and made the whole experience feel relaxed & enjoyable. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and it made a huge difference in the experience. Honestly just an incredible day overall & something we’ll remember for a long time. Highly recommend booking with Captain Shaun.

Captain Shaun and his buddy Captain Robert were eceptional! They took us on a 4 hour offshore fishing trip and put us on many fish. We caught Vermillion Snapper, Red Snapper, Rubies, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Trigger Fish and even a Bonita! Very nice people and had a great time. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking to catch some fish.
Captain Shaun gave us an awesome offshore trip out of Shalimar/Fort Walton/Destin. He put in the miles, worked hard the whole time, and did everything he could to get us on fish. We caught a great variety, including snapper, amberjack, squirrelfish, remoras, rubies, and had several bigger fish hooked up before the Goliath groupers got to them first. More than anything, it was a great experience with my son. Caleb had an absolute blast, and that’s what made the trip special. Captain Shaun was professional, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and clearly wanted us to have a good time. We’ve fished with him before and would absolutely book with him again. Highly recommend.

Shaun was great. We unfortunately came during tropical storm Bertha, so our trip was rescheduled for another day. Shaun was very easy to communicate with and responded back quickly. We caught so many fish, not many keepers due to the season and type but my kids (13 and 9) had a great day! Thank you, would definitely book again.
Don't think i could have asked for a better experience. Not only did we catch a big variety of fish, but Capt. Shaun taught us a lot about each species and made everything fun. That was perfect for our family with three young boys (7, 8 and 10 yrs old). We caught two big redfish thanks to Shaun's expertise and extra effort. Our boys will never forget it. He also did a great job cleaning the fish and having the boat clean, safe and all the equipment ready. Could not recommended him more.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
