Join Prime Time Fishing Charters and spend an exciting day on the water. Captain Evan Soudijn specializes in fishing the waters of the lower Tampa Bay region. He offers family-friendly trips that welcome anglers of all skill levels. Even if you’ve never fished before, you’ll have lots of fun and end the day with a few trophies of your own in the bucket.
The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 24’ T Craft boat that accommodates up to 4 anglers. She’s powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine, navigational electronics, a live bait tank, and a cooler. This center console offers a safe and reliable ride at all times.
You’ll mostly explore inshore spots and flats that offer a chance to target Redfish, Trout, and Snook. From May till the beginning of July there are special Tarpon trips available. This hard-fighting fish is the king of the shallow water and it won’t let you catch it that easily. Test your strength and patience with the Silver King and earn your bragging rights.
The captain specializes in using light tackle with live bait and it’s all prepared in advance and included in the price. Your fishing licenses and bottled water are also included but feel free to bring other beverages and snacks.
Prime Time Fishing Charters offers the action that never stops. The trips are available year round, so you only need to pick a date that fits your schedule.

Unexpected catch

Half Day Trip
Half day with Captain Evan
Had an awesome half day of fishing with Captain Evan. We spent four hours fishing in various locations in the bay. We caught primarily trout and snook, some were very large. Evan knows the area very well, has been fishing this area since he was in middle school. He is very knowledgeable, polite, informative, and makes the it a very enjoyable fishing trip. I would give him a very high recommendation. Evan, thanks for the great trip!

Half day morning trip with captain Evan
Had a great time! Captain Evan was constantly making efforts to make our experience better. Almost always on fish and if we weren’t he would immediately make a change of plans to up our chances. Caught a wide variety of fish which includes hitting a “slam” for target fish(snook, red, and trout). He is very nice and very helpful. Highly recommend taking family and/or friends on a trip with Captain Evan!

We had a great day out with Captain Evan. Things started out slow, but Evan kept us on the move until we finished with a bang at what my kids called “the lucky spot.” Speaking of kids, Evan was super patient and accommodating with them, and they talk about our fishing outing as their favorite part of the trip. Definitely recommend and we wouldn’t hesitate to do another trip with Captain Evan.

The day started out ON the fish and just kept getting better. Caught 4-30 plus inches Reds, 4 nice Snook and 3 or 4 big Trout, excitement all day. Capt Evan is a real pro! Best trip ever!. I've been fishing around here over 35 yrs!
