Come visit Italy and have a wonderful fishing trip together with SalBoat Sorrento Fishing Tours. Starting out of the famous town of Sorrento, you and Skipper Salvatore Ioviero will embark on a journey and search for many different and interesting offshore species. The skipper is a skilled angler who’ll help you make a great catch and enjoy your trip to the fullest.

Your trip will start on a restored 42’ Sorrento Gozzo commercial boat that can easily take up to 15 guests. Its 250 HP Iveco engine along with modern navigation technology will take you quickly and safely to the fish. The boat is wheelchair accessible and has got a toilet, shower, beds, and a kitchen. You can use the onboard multimedia system, refrigerator, ice-box, as well as snorkeling equipment. A first mate will be joining the trip as well.

You’ll encounter many interesting species, some of them being Amberjack, Atlantic Mackerel, Dusky Grouper, Gurnard, Gilt-head, John Dory, and many more. You’ll catch them by bottom, deep sea, and drift fishing, as well as jigging and handline. You and the crew can keep your catches, alcohol and smoking aren’t allowed while on board, and you’re free to bring along kids on your trip.

Skipper Salvatore will provide you with all the needed fishing gear as well as licenses, snacks, drinks, as well as lunch.

    At 6:00 p.m. you'll transfer from your hotel to the port of Marina Grande, where the "SalBoat" will take you to the fishing spot. While on board, you'll be briefed on the fishing techniques and the use of traditional tools. At sunset, you can enjoy a toast with a glass of Italian Prosecco. After the fishing, stop in one of the Sorrento's bays for a wonderful dinner with traditional local dishes. You'll get back to Sorrento at 10:30 p.m. and transfer back to your hotel. Fishing will be done with rods.
