Come visit Staley Adventures for an enjoyable fishing trip in Pottsboro, Texas. You'll explore the area's rivers, lakes, as well as inshore waters and have lots of fun on the water. The area's known not only for its fine fishing grounds but for great natural beauty as well. Come along with Captain Jay Staley and enjoy a fishing adventure in this beautiful environment!
You'll fish from a restored 24' Blazer Bay center console, a spacious boat that can easily accommodate 6 guests. It runs on a 350 HP Yamaha V8 engine with a maximum cruising speed of 60 knots and uses all the quality navigation electronics to take you to the fish quickly and safely. The boat is wheelchair-accessible and is equipped with a wireless trolling motor, fighting chair, and livewell. You'll also have an ice-box to store your fish and there will be a first mate joining aboard as well.
Using light tackle, you and Captain Jay will target Striped Bass by bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, popping, and drift fishing. You can take your kids aboard and enjoy a lovely family outing together and you're free to keep all the fish you catch if you wish to.
The captain will supply you with rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait, and will also clean and fillet your catch for free. You just bring fishing licenses, some snacks and drinks, and you'll be set to go.

We limited out and had a great time! By far the best guide we have ever had here! Absolutely recommend these guys!
Even though the weather was too perfect, with zero breeze and movement, Jay and Gentry found a limit of stripers, a couple channel cats and some white bass. Great work

Awesome captain. Great knowledge of the fishing we were doing and the lake. Got tips during the day from other guides. all trying to help each other's groups win. Caught plenty of strippers and a few cats. Good dinner across a few nights. My partner was my son - 8 - and they helped him have an amazing time. Awesome guide!!
