Reel Livin Guide Service is owned and operated by Captain Kevin, who's been fishing Lake Texoma for almost 2 decades. He's spent years of his free time at the lake perfecting the ways to catch Stripers. Head out in search of your own trophy with this local pro!
Capt. Kevin wants every guest to have a positive experience and does his best to make sure that happens. All trips are family-friendly and anglers of all skill levels are more than welcome aboard.
You'll be fishing from a 23' Falcon boat that accommodates up to 6 anglers. This center console is powered by a 300 HP GM engine that can reach speeds of up to 30 knots. She's got enough cozy seating space for everyone on board and enough room for everyone to fish at the same time.
You'll primarily target Striped Bass on your trip but you can always count on surprises. Occasionally, you'll get Crappie, Catfish, Largemouth, and Smallmouth Bass. If you want to focus on one of these other species, just let your captain know – Stripers are a great target, but you don't have to go only after them.
Capt. Kevin covers your fishing equipment and cleans your catch after the trip. You'll only need to purchase a fishing license and prepare some snacks and drinks for the day.

If you’re thinking about booking a striper guide trip, stop thinking and just do it! This was hands-down one of the most fun fishing trips I’ve ever been on. Kevin and his deckhand, Ryan were knowledgeable, patient, and had great sense of humor. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or someone who thinks a fishing reel is a new exercise machine, you’ll feel right at home. The fish were not as active today and that was common for alot of people on the lake. They were definitely there, just not hungry. Somedays you just cant get them like you want them. We had so many laughs and brought home some striper to cook. Hope to book with Mr. Cates again in the future.
Our Captain was knowledgeable and professional. We had very windy weather (gusts of 30 mph) but Kevin changed plans to find us a place with fish and avoiding the larger swells. He found us places closer to the shore as the tree line worked as a wind break so we were not constantly in the wind. I highly recommend Captain Kevin.
Highly recomend Captain Kevin! We had a great time, caught fish, and really enjoyed our time with Captain Kevin. We will definitely be booking with him again soon.
My son and had a great time fishing with Capt Kevin. Everything was ready and we departed immediately for a great day of fishing. He does it all from baiting, unhooking the fish and cleaning them at the end of the. He has a nice, spacious boat as well. Highly recommend!
We caught stripper and some catfish. Overall an awesome experience. I brought my sons who had never fished with a guide before and they really enjoyed it! I’m looking forward to booking another trip with Kevin later this year!
