Triple T Charters and Captain Tim Rudder welcome you to Morehead City, North Carolina. Come visit them and spend a memorable time on the water while you chase lots of different species and enjoy the beautiful nature. Captain Tim has been fishing the local waters all his life and will know how to make your trip the best it can be. Join him and have a fun and pleasant fishing experience out of Morehead City. Tim the Troutman welcomes you aboard!
You will fish from a 20’ Kencraft skiff boat that can accommodate up to 4 anglers. Its 115 HP Yamaha engine along with the modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology allow you a safe and quick reach to the fish. You will have access to an ice-box to store your drinks and fish and there will also be a livewell to supply you with live bait.
There is a wide range of fish you can target on your trip. To mention just some of the species, there are Albacore Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Whiting, Bonito, Sheepshead, and more. To catch them, you can use bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, and drift fishing, all on light tackle. You can either keep or release the fish you catch and you are free to bring kids on your trip.
Captain Tim provides you with the rods, reels, as well as lures, meaning you should only bring your fishing licenses as well as the food and drinks of your choice.

Half day.
We just had the perfect day!!
What a day!! Captain Tim is the real deal and I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable experience. I booked this charter along with our son and our daughter. Tim knew exactly where to go and he put us on fish. We didn't just go fishing, we went went catching!! At a point, we lost count of how many fish were brought in to the boat. We limited out on some nice sea trout, caught loads of big flounder (that we put back, thanks NC), blues, grouper, black sea bass, Spanish mackerel and more. He has a great boat that is well equipped. The GPS trolling motor is very cool. I highly recommend Tim "The Trout Man" and look forward to going back out with him again!

Tim is awesome Captain.. He knew the spots where the fish where .. He made us the spotlight of the Day .. Boats came out of no where and surrounded us as we pulled in more fish then my Son said he caught his whole life .. We had an awesome catch of over 100 fish .. Caught so much fish my Arm started Hurting … Thanks Tim your the man .. We will be back ASAP 😎

Lifetime Flounder
Tim was a fantastic captain. He was the nicest and most helpful captain I’ve ever met. He kept the hooks on the rods, the bait on the hooks, and the fish on the bait. Caught several doormat flounder with one over 30” and about 12 pounds. Will highly recommend Tim anytime someone is in the area around the Crystal Coast!

First Time Fishers
Tim was great for a family trip inshore. Put us right on fish! Was patient in explaining technique, different types of bait, and what to look for at several spots. Kids’ first time out and they lost count on the number of fish they caught. Tim even had a little competition planned for them. Great day and would highly recommend.

Most considerate captian
I have fished with Tim a few times and we always fill the coolers. The biggest thing is the consideration he takes with the guest he takes out. Took my elderly father and the extra time he took with him to make sure he was comfortable was second to none. By far the best captian I have ever been out with!!
