Cape Crusader Charters invites you for a great day in nature full of fishing fun and excitement. Come and discover the inshore waters of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina and enjoy a chase with some of the prized species that both put up a fine fight and provide good table-fare. Captain Rick Patterson will make sure you have a great time, so come aboard and start your adventure!
The boat you’ll be using is a 22’ Ranger Bay bay boat that will provide you with a safe and enjoyable trip. It runs on a 250 HP Yamaha engine, can sit up to 5 guests, and uses GPS and radio technology for efficient movement on the water. The boat’s also equipped with a livewell that will supply you with live bait.
You and Captain Rick will fish for Striped Bass, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, and other species using light tackle If you want to, you’re free to keep all the fish you catch and take it home. If not, just release it back into the water.
For your trip, the only things you’ll need to bring are your favorite food and drinks. Captain Rick will take care of all the rods, reels, terminal tackle, as well as live bait, lures, and even fishing licenses.

Captain Rick was a lot of fun to fish with, and he knew his stuff! We caught some big black drum, some red drum, a spotted seatrout, and, at the end, the largest sheepshead I'd ever seen. This was one of the best fishing trips I've ever been on, and I'd definitely fish with Captain Rick again next time I'm in town! 5 out 5! Awesome!
