Southern Mayhem Fishing Charters 

Captain Cole is phenomenal! Loved the Contender CC... fast and solid, the twin 300hp Yamahas rule! Had a blast and caught a great amount and variety of fish... 40"+ gag groupers, a nice sized red grouper, half dozen red snapper (released), a mahi, and a big a kingfish. Strongly recommend the 7-hour trip which provides plenty of time to get out and work the various grounds. We will definitely charter Southern Mayhem next time we are in the Cocoa Beach area.

Captain Cole was spot on! At first we were scheduled to go on Thursday. After talking on the phone with him, he thought the weather on Thursday wasn't going to make it a good trip and that Saturday would be a better trip. We were able to make that change work. Saturday.....Awesome! Captain Cole had us on fish right away and the 3 of were able to limit out on 2 species of fish and spent the rest of the day cranking in more fish! Captain Cole will be seeing us again!!

What a fishing trip! We met Cole the captain at 7am for a full day of fishing. Cole is a super chill guy. We felt welcomed and relaxed right from the time we met. He communicated well though the app and answered all of my questions quickly prior to the trip. We headed out to catch bait and got treated to a rocket launch off the cape. The rocket launch was pure coincidence but was definitely awesome. Cole took us out and put us on fish right away. We had a Mahi in the boat in the first 10 minutes. Over the course of the day we all got to catch fish. We caught several Cobia right beside the boat. This was probably the most exciting part. Seeing the Cobia swimming with a large shark was really cool. We had a great day and would definitely recommend Southern Mayhem. Captain Cole also does inshore trips on a smaller boat. Thank you Cole for a great day on the water.

We booked a 7 hour offshore trip and every second was great. Captain Cole worked hard to put us on fish and we definitely enjoyed his company. He was very personable and fun to be with. The 5 of us in the boat were comfortable and each of us had mutiple chances at fish. For me i caught my first Cobia and we all got some dinner to bring home. Thank you to Captain Cole.

We had an amazing time with Captain Cole and Southern Mayhem Fishing Charters! He had us on fish within minutes of dropping lines, and the action didn’t slow down. We limited out on King Mackerel and also reeled in a great mix of Bonita, Barracuda, and even some sharks. Cole clearly knows where to go and how to keep the trip exciting. His boat is fast, smooth, and comfortable—perfect for getting us to the fishing grounds quickly and enjoying the ride along the way. We’ll definitely be booking again!
