Our 34' custom built catamaran The Katilak is the perfect platform for fishing Alaskan waters. The walk around cabin and huge back deck offers ample fishing room and her large, heated cabin easily accommodates 6 passengers and all of your gear. With a cruising speed of 30 knots, you will reach the fishing grounds fast and in comfort.

AM 5 Hour Salmon Trip on July 29, 2026 • 1 adultI went fishing with Rick & George. I had booked a slot on a group trip but no one else turned up so ended up with a private charter just for me! Rick is very good at finding all the spots & George was super helpful getting lines out into the water quickly. We caught stacks of pink Salmon. Maybe 10 total, we were throwing them back. We also caught 3 silver salmon (Coho) and 1 king salmon (Chinook). I was very happy.

Nice boat, nice ride despite the very windy conditions, ginger chews saved me from sea sickness!, successful spots where we caught LOTS of halibut & rock fish, salmon trolling on the way back was fun, and we even saw whales coming in. Capn & crew were very nice and welcoming especially after being the only solo guest. They pack your catch and prepare it for however you need. Would go again!

Captain Rick worked to get us on fish and Lou kept the lines in the water. We had action and action..so much I was worn out by days end. Both were very hospitable and all expectations were exceeded. The captain and crew are first rate and professional with a “reel” appreciation for the experience of guests. Capt Rick was easy to work with. The weather in Kodiak wasn’t great on the day we were scheduled to go out. Capt Rick notified us in plenty of time and we were able to reschedule to another day. If back in Kodiak we’d schedule another chapter with capt Rick!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 50% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
