We have fished from Alaska to Florida and back, catching Marlin, Tuna, Sailfish, and tons of big halibut!. For us, there's nothing like fishing Alaska and especially Kodiak! Whether chasing giant Halibut and Lingcod or putting you on world-famous King Salmon, there's something extra special about our home waters.

Our 34' custom built catamaran The Katilak is the perfect platform for fishing Alaskan waters. The walk around cabin and huge back deck offers ample fishing room and her large, heated cabin easily accommodates 6 passengers and all of your gear. With a cruising speed of 30 knots, you will reach the fishing grounds fast and in comfort.

    AM 5 Hour Salmon Trip on July 29, 2026 • 1 adult

    I went fishing with Rick & George. I had booked a slot on a group trip but no one else turned up so ended up with a private charter just for me! Rick is very good at finding all the spots & George was super helpful getting lines out into the water quickly. We caught stacks of pink Salmon. Maybe 10 total, we were throwing them back. We also caught 3 silver salmon (Coho) and 1 king salmon (Chinook). I was very happy.

    Capitan Rick brought us straight to the fish! No wasted time! We caught our limit of Halibut, Black Rock Fish, and plenty of Pacific Gray Cod. This trip has more than just fishing, lots of wildlife to view. Puffin, whales, sealions. 10/10 recommend Capitan Rick on KatilaK!

    Great Kodiak deep water fishing experience! Nice boat, nice ride despite the very windy conditions, ginger chews saved me from sea sickness!, successful spots where we caught LOTS of halibut & rock fish, salmon trolling on the way back was fun, and we even saw whales coming in. Capn & crew were very nice and welcoming especially after being the only solo guest. They pack your catch and prepare it for however you need. Would go again!

    Working in Kodiak for a few days I booked a last minute trip was was so very happy I did. Captain Rick and Crew Lou were awesome. Captain Rick worked to get us on fish and Lou kept the lines in the water. We had action and action..so much I was worn out by days end. Both were very hospitable and all expectations were exceeded.
