Come spend a day on beautiful Lake Erie out of Lakeside Marblehead and have an enjoyable fishing trip with Eye Got Ya Charters. You'll have a great time on the water as you search the lake's productive waters and observe the mesmerizing natural surroundings well-known all over the world. Captain Jim Perkins will do everything to help you create lasting memories on the water, so join him and come aboard!
The boat you'll be using to fish is a 27' Sport Craft offshore sport fishing boat that can sit up to 6 guests and it runs on a 300 HP 7.2 Mercruiser engine. Its navigation equipment is comprised of GPS, fishfinder, and radio systems that will allow you a safe and efficient trip. The boat also features a toilet and an ice-box, and a first mate will join you on board as well to provide any help needed.
You and Captain Jim will be going after the prized Walleye and Yellow Perch, trying to catch them by trolling, spinning, and jigging on light tackle. You can keep all the fish you catch, but if you don't want it, you can simply release it back to the water. Kids are welcome to join in, so bring them as well and make your trip even better.
For your trip, you'll just need to bring fishing licenses and the snacks and drinks of your choice. The captain will take care of all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures.

Half Day Trip – Walleye Troll/Cast on August 4, 2026 • 4 adultsI took my crew this morning with Capatain Jim and his first hand and daughter Sofia. We took an hour boat ride to our spot and as soon as we started fishing, it was non stop for 4 hours. We caught our limit with no issue at all. We even caught one for the wall that Captain Jim is working on getting it mounted for us. Captain Jim also cleaned our fish for us too. Hands down, the best outfit we have used and we will contact them again the next time.

Jim was very communicative from the start and flexible with any requests we made. His boat is recently renovated with comfortable seating, great gear and a seamless layout that makes fishing with a group really fun and enjoyable. As for our Captain, Jim was not only patient with us when showing us the ropes, but made the entire trip fun with his sense of humor and great music selections - we could have stayed out there all day! We’ve been on other fishing charters in the area, and this far exceeded the others! Half Day Trip – Walleye Troll/Cast on June 26, 2024 • 4 adults • 1 childThis was my son's (12 yrs old) first time out on Lake Eric. Captain Jim showed him how to reel in a fish and provided pointers to all of us. We left promptly at 5:30 and were on the fish as soon as we dropped gear. We caught our limit in two hours and were back in time to catch breakfast. Jim and his first mate Gunnar were very personal and kept us on track. Would definitely fish again with captain Jim!

Our family trip included kids with no experience fishing and adults who were experienced anglers. All had an amazing and unforgettable experience. Would definitely recommend this trip to others.

Captain and crew were amazing! Taught us all the basics and turned us loose. Caught about 28 fish. very memorable experience. I would recommend this charter without hesitation.
