Bank And Bight Backcountry Charters 

I have done 20+ charters in the keys and this was without a doubt one of the very best. Booked a very last minute trip with my 8 year old son. Jon was super flexible on timing to accommodate us. We booked a 2 hour trip that turned into a 6 hour trip. Both my son and I had an incredible time. Jon is also a biologist and knows a TON about the ecosystem which is very cool. the boat is in excellent condition and unlike too many other charters he uses great tackle. Twin power reels, St Croix rods, etc. We caught mangrove snapper, jacks, and missed our shot at a few snook (not due to the capts lack of effort!). He kept us busy and our hooks baited at all times. We kept a few snapper for dinner which my son really loved Hes intelligent and knows where to fish. Awesome with kids. This is hands down the one to book if youre considering a back bay trip. Thanks again for an awesome day we will be back!

Captain JP was awesome and our trip was amazing! We caught several keeper Mangrove snappers, a tarpon that got away & some pinkish. JP fileted our fish perfectly to take to a restaurant for lunch. He was very knowledgeable about the best spots and moved quickly between them so we could make sure to catch a lot and have a lot of action. Would definitely recommend to everyone and will definitely go again ourselves.

Capt John Paul is very knowledgeable of the area and you will really catch the best fish!! Book a trip with him and you will not waste your money and you will experience and treasure the fishing memories ever.

Captain JP was AWESOME!! It was our first charter boat and had THE best time ever! We caught a snapper 10 min into our trip! Captain JP got us on all the fish we were wanting to catch! I HIGHLY reccommend Captain JP! Cant wait to book our next trip with him! I also caught a Permit after one breaking me off! This was the highlight of our trip to the Keys!

First time fishing in Florida and it was a great experience. Capt JP was a very knowledgeable Capt. The wind was less than desirable but we were able to site cast on a school of Tarpon on the flats and hook nice Tarpon for 3 jumps but lost it to a cut leader. I would definitely recommend Capt JP for a fishing trip in Islamorada.

My 12 year old daughter and I went on a 2 hour inland trip with Jon-Paul. He was knowledable about the area, fish and other native wildlife. This combined with his friendly personality and fishing know how, maden it a great first ocean fishing trip for my daughter. She caught several different types if fish, including a hog fish. We had a great time and would recommend Jon-Paul to anyone who may want to fish in the Islamorada area.

we had a very enjoyable day in the backcountry of the Florida Keys. We wanted a low stress fun day and that is exactly what we got. Jon-Paul did a great job of putting us on the fish. We would highly recommend Jon-Paul for this backcountry fishing expedition.

We had a fantastic experience overall. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and recommended some excellent fishing spots.

He had time to sort things out and we tried different methods to get the fish.will be booking with him again next year

The day of our charter was only about 50 degrees starting out and unfavorable conditions. However, Captain Jon-Paul was able to get us on fish and we ended up taking plenty for the evenings meal. We never got on the target species but had a blast anyway! I would happily book again!
