These guys are the best! Their English is good, they had great personalities and were very flexible. They wanted to make sure we had a great time and got to do everything we wanted to. Edmond had good communication before the trip. Our trip started with fishing. They took us to a great spot right off. I'm not as much of a fisher as my husband is, but Edmund was great. Baited my hooks and got me started so I wouldn't miss out on the fun. Fish were really biting. When they quit biting for just a few minutes, they moved us to another spot where the fish were biting. We caught several trigger fish. Then we were off to a spot where I could snorkel. We trolled on the way there. Didn't get any bites but I enjoyed the relaxing speed. On the way there, Gustavo made some scrumptious ceviche with fresh tomatoes, avocados, onions and the fish we caught. Very delicious! We ate in the cove area while sea turtles, sting rays and a moray eel swam right next to and under our boat. It was amazing!!! I snorkeled for a bit. Edmund offered to take us to a cenote but it was a 7 minute walk and my husband didn't want to go. So we headed back, trolling along the way. On the way, they pointed out a giant sea turtle for me to see. They never rushed us and were willing to make sure we had the trip of a lifetime. Definitely worth the money. We highly recommend Juancho 1 and hope to see Edmond and Gustavo again some day.

the action started within minute's of setting off and stright into a mia mia. Edmondo and crew are first class, had 5 Mia Mia, a big white marlin got off and when bottom fishing something serious took the bait, fought for about 15mins but put to much pressure on it and snapped 30kg line, felt like a gaint grouper. highly reccond this trip and all in just over 4hours, thankyou Edmondo and crew

The captain's first job was in a water sports activities center when he was 18 years old. He worked there as a swimming, sailing, diving, and snorkeling guide. Then he moved to the famous 14th Street to a community of local fishermen where he worked for 10 years as a reception guide for customers looking for boat rides, snorkeling, and all types of fishing trips. After that, the captain took the decision to buy a boat so he could take out his own customers and do his best to put smiles on their faces. The captain tries to learn something new about fishing every day!
