Come fish the beautiful offshore waters of Destin, Florida, with Capt. Magnum Owens aboard our 24’ NauticStar center console. With new ownership by Blake Maddox, we’re keeping the same great captains, same high standards, and adding a new level of energy to your experience.
This 24’ NauticStar is powered by a strong Yamaha engine and is fully outfitted with GPS, fishfinder, a multimedia system, and a large cooler for your drinks and snacks. The boat fits up to 6 guests and is equipped with a livewell and safety gear for a reliable and comfortable ride.
We’ll target species like Red Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Triggerfish, Blackfin Tuna, and more – depending on season and trip type. Whether you’re trolling offshore or dropping baits over reefs, we’ll put you on the fish.
All gear, fishing licenses, and catch cleaning are included. Just bring your food, drinks, and sun protection. (Children must be at least 10 years old.)

Magnum was a great captain, he considered our circumstances and provided us with an enjoyable time. I get sea sick easy so he stayed close by in case we needed to cut our trip short. But the trip was great, got our 4 hours in. He didn’t waste time on spots that weren’t yielding results. If we pulled up something that we couldn’t keep it was a nuisance, he took us to another spot. Very knowledgeable about the area. I gave the boat 4 stars only because there was a problem with the prop that had been addressed the day before improperly by the mechanic (not the captains fault). I also gave the over all experience 4 stars just because I was expecting more fish to take home. Unfortunately the captain has no control over fishing regulations.😂 This was my first fishing charter and yes I would do it again. Thanks, my son and I had a great time!

We had a great trip. Captain Magnum went the extra mile to be sure we had a good time. We caught enough fish for our dinner (which was the goal, since we can’t take them home on the plane) and then tried for some bigger fish (out of season, but had fun trying). Ages in our group: 2 adults, and then 3 “kids” ages 21, 18, 12.

We went out for a half day with our kiddos ages 6 and 10. Captain had them catching fish as fast as they could reel them in! Us adults got some nice catches too! The kids didn’t want to come in!
