With Blue Ridge Fly Fishing Adventures, you can always count on an amazing drift fishing trip. Let Captain Todd take you on the Toccoa River or go exploring the mountain streams. He’ll guide you to some of the best fishing spots and share his experience. The trips are available for anglers of all skill levels, including complete novices. It only takes a bit of positive energy and some luck to catch the fish of your dreams.
You’ll start the trip on a 16’ Saturn drift boat that accommodates up to 2 guests. The boat offers a stable and reliable ride, but she only takes a side role. When you reach the fishing spot, you’ll step into the river or a stream and catch fish on foot.
It all depends on where you want to go and what spot has better fish action. The captain will advise what’s the best choice. You can count on targeting mainly Trout species, such as Rainbow, Brook, and Brown but you can also go after Walleye, Yellow Perch, and Black Bream. Combine fly fishing with ultra-light tackle.
You get to keep the catch and the captain will clean and fillet it for you free of charge. It’s all very tasty panfish, so you’ll enjoy your meal, no matter what you catch.
All fishing equipment, such as rods, lures, and bait are included in the price. You’ll need to purchase your fishing licenses and pack some snacks and drinks. Don’t forget your wading suit and boots!

Todd was an awesome guide! My 10 year old son had a blast! Todd had all the equipment and bait we needed. We moved up and down the river and caught trout and other fish and caught enough to have dinner that night. I will definitely be calling him back for another fishing trip. Thank you Todd!
My wife and I had an excellent time with captain Todd. He was glad to help in rescheduling our trip date because of the cold weather rather than having to cancel it.Which made for a beautiful day on the water. We were really looking forward to this trip and captain Todd made sure to put us on a fish. He was very patient when we lost multiple lures and always made sure we had a rigged pole in our hand. We all shared great conversation down the drift of the river while he directed us towards specific spots to throw our lines and once we finished he explained to us how to gut and filet the fish. We will absolutely be booking again it was a very memorable experience.
