Half Day Float on Toccoa River
Incredible Trout Fishing Experience!
My husband and I had an amazing time on our guided trout fishing trip! From the moment we arrived, Andy made us feel welcome and completely at ease, even though I was a beginner and my husband had more experience. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and Andy knew all the best spots to find the trout — we were both catching fish in no time! Andy is patient, knowledgeable, and passionate. He provided great tips, handled all the setup, and made sure we were both comfortable and having fun. Highly recommend this trip for couples looking to enjoy the outdoors together and try something new — whether you're seasoned anglers or complete beginners!

Half Day Float on Toccoa River
Multiple fishing trips.
March 29, April 5, May 24. We took the jet boat up Saluda river upstream of lake Murray. Both of those trips were full days. Andy monitored the water levels closely. We were able to travel up shoals that most other boats would shy away from due to his experience and knowledge of the river terrain and boat driving skills. We fished shoals and other places that Andy knew were prime fishing spots. Andy gave me advice on fishing lures, techniques, knots, and stories of many other fishing experiences. He was safe and very aware of other fishermen and pedestrians. Several other fishermen knew him because he is out on the water so much. Fishing. We also fished the saluda, broad, and congaree confluence area. It was similar to the other fishing trips. We spent a half day on this due to traveling further to get to the location. Felt like there were no places the jet boat couldn’t reach. We explored the river shoals and had success. Each trip I learned things about fishing. With Andy I caught my first Striper and it was over 23 inches. There was no doubt that Andy knew much about the fishing community and sport. More importantly I got to relax while being expertly guided to highly probable opportunities of making another great catch.

Half Day Float - Toccoa River
Had an incredible time out on the Toccoa River with Capt. Andy! We came in from out of state and didn’t know what to expect but were extremely happy with everything. Weather was nice fish were biting. Not to mention Andy was super knowledgeable, professional, and made the whole trip fun and relaxing. We caught some amazing brown and rainbow trout, more than we had really planned for if I’m being honest. If you’re looking for a top-notch fishing experience, this is the guide to book. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! Will book again.
Captain Andy was very knowledgeable about the Toccoa. Great teacher and was always very friendly and helpful, even when he kept having to fix my tangles and snags. The boat was very nice, and he provided excellent equipment. Overall a great experience. Would recommend to anyone, and I will definitely be booking again.
