Ready to discover some of the best fishing Tampa Bay has to offer? Join Captain John aboard Tampa Bay Fishing Adventures for an exciting day on the water! With countless hours spent navigating these local waters, Captain John knows where to find the fish and will do everything he can to make your trip memorable.
Depending on the season and conditions, you may have the chance to catch Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Mangrove Snapper, Gag Grouper, Tarpon, Spanish Mackerel, and more. Whether you prefer spinning, bottom fishing, fly fishing, or another technique, Captain John can tailor the experience to your goals. Fly fishing is also available, although guests may need to bring their own fly gear.
Bring the whole family! These trips are child-friendly, making them a great way to get the kids off their screens and onto the water. Children must wear life jackets, so please check with the captain to make sure the appropriate size is available.
You'll fish aboard a 24' Ranger bay boat, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests. Your captain provides the rods, reels, and live bait, so you can spend less time worrying about equipment and more time focusing on the fishing.
No fishing license is required for guests, and Captain John will help you stay up to date with all applicable fishing regulations, including seasonal and catch restrictions.
For your trip, we recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and non-spray sunscreen. Snacks are welcome to keep you fueled throughout the day. Other drinks are also welcome—just ask the captain first. Alcohol is permitted in moderation, but please leave the glass bottles at home.
All that's left is to grab your family or friends, step aboard, and get ready for an unforgettable Tampa Bay fishing adventure. Book your trip today and let's see what’s biting!
