started off slow but once we found the fish the bait stealing was on. We caught fish and we lost fish. Sheepshead bite fast and slow but its so light of a tap that you barely notice but your batot is gone. We had a blast. I definitely will be back to get out with Captain Zack. Great guy, not only did he put us on fish but also an amazing restaurant called Tin Top and also a seafood place called Billy’s so I could get some gator.

First charter fishing experience
2 Hour Trip – Intro to Fishing - 8:00 AM on October 15, 2025 • 2 adults
Captain Zack was filling in for captain Marty, and I had a blast!! Zack was laid back, friendly, and just a regular dude like me. But unlike me he’s an outstanding Captain and angler. We caught red snapper and Spanish mackerel. Unfortunately the snappers were too small to keep, but it didn’t take away from the thrill and excitement of catching different species of fish. I grilled those Spanish mackerel and my wife and I ate well that night! Would highly recommend Addicted to fishing charters.

I took two kiddos on this trip and everyone caught fish. We started by going out and catching some great snapper. Then we came back in closer to the shore and chased after red fish and black drum.
We caught and released our share of fish throughout the day. The trip back was especially memorable. The captain managed to get a pod of dolphins to follow us and play right in the boat wake. It was an awesome trip and a fantastic experience for the children.

Fishing with marty was a fantastic experience for our family. Being new to salt water fishing, Marty took the time to really show us all the tricks. He went above and beyond to try to find the red fish after storms made the fishing more difficult. Best of all, he was great with our kids - including our very chatty five year old. If you’re fishing with kids, Marty is your guy.
