Swing by Edgewater, Florida, home to the Mosquito Lagoon Aquatic Reserve. Anglers who want to do some flats and inshore fishing will love it here. Don't be a stranger and contact Caught Slackin Fishing Charters, and they'll put you on the fish. Captain Christian Raimondo knows the area like the back of his hand, and he'll show you around. What's more, he wants you to have a fun time in his hometown fishery.
You'll be exploring the local fisheries on board the Panga Marine, flats boat model from 2008. It is 18' and it can accommodate groups of 3 guests per trip. The boat is equipped with a single Suzuki 60hp Tiller, which can reach top speeds of 30 kn. For a quieter and stealthier approach to fish, a wireless trolling motor is available.
This charter covers inshore and nearshore locations, which include local flats along with backcountry fishing. The fish bites all year round, though in certain seasons some are more available than others. In certain months Snook is off-limits. Generally, you can target yummy Flounder, Blacktip Shark, Mangrove Snapper, among others. As for the fishing techniques, you can test your skills with light tackle, bottom fishing, spinning, and fly fishing.
Families will be glad to know that children are welcome. You don't have to worry about the necessary fishing equipment, lures, and bait, all of this will be ready on board. Additionally, the charter covers your Florida fishing license. For a more refreshing experience, the crew offers drinks. It's up to you whether you'll keep or release your catch. If you do bag it, the crew will happily help you with cleaning.
Get some flats and inshore action with the Caught Slacking Fishing Charters, and don't miss the chance to bag some fresh fish.

I did the half day charter and was not disappointed Chris put me on the biggest red fish of my life and guided me every step of the way he is very knowledgeable and professional
We were an hour plus late due to my mistake in directions but Captain Chris never complained or showed any type of frustration. He was very welcoming upon meeting him and was engaging the entire trip. He even stayed out as long as possible to make up for my mistake. We are extremely grateful for that. Now on to the fishing. He put my boys on the biggest fish of their lives. One son caught a 42” red drum and my youngest reeled in a 38”. He put us on big fish, but knew the boys were wanting to bring something home. Captain Chris ended the trip with a bang, we were able to catch two catfish and put the some fish in the cooler for my boys to eat when we got home, Overall it was a great trip and I would definitely recommend Captain Chris for your next fishing trip!!!
Fun experience catching several fish--about 10-12 inches. Sheepshead, redfish, mangrove snapper. Dolphins were accompanying us for awhile. Chris gave us extra time, helping us look for "the big one." Captain Chris is very attentive and knowledgeable-- always kept us actively fishing. No down time. Beautiful morning. 😊
It was a great time with you two! I look forward to our next adventure. Thanks again.
Captain Chris is fantastic, he provides high quality tackle and world class fish! He doesn’t waste any time, from the moment I stepped on the boat we searched for fish before actually fishing. The only thing I wish I did differently was give Chris a bigger tip! Will be booking again in the future as he’s the best captain I’ve fished with.
