Amazing trip with Captain Jeff — Red Can Charters If you're looking for a polished, buttoned-up charter experience, this isn't it — and that's exactly what made it great. Captain Jeff reached out early after booking and stayed responsive to every question we had leading up to the trip. The boat itself has real character — weathered, well-loved, and clearly built for fishing rather than looking pretty at the dock. It's the kind of vessel that feels like it's got stories to tell, and it added to the sense that we were in for a real adventure rather than a cookie-cutter tour. Plenty of room for two people to move around comfortably, and the pricing was fantastic for what we got. Captain Jeff matched the boat's personality perfectly — down-to-earth, easy-going, and full of character. At one point out on the water, we spotted a strange line of lights moving in perfect formation across the sky and genuinely thought we were witnessing an alien invasion. Turned out to be a string of Starlink satellites — but Jeff played along with the theory for a solid few minutes before letting us in on it, and it turned into one of the best laughs of the trip. We walked away with about 50 lbs of salmon — an outstanding catch by any measure. A few tips for anyone booking: Get your fishing license sorted before the trip. Bring cash for a donation at Ukee Seafood and Fish Pak — this gets you ice for the boat's cooler. Cash tips for the captain are preferred. Drop your fish at Ukee Seafood Pak afterward — they process by weight, vacuum seal, and flash freeze. Styrofoam coolers are also available for purchase there. Jeff is a maniacal pirate, who gets the fish to bite with the sheer force of his will. His deck hand and the fish hound "Moose" were professional and made sure we landed as many fish as possible. This trip was a one of a kind experience, with a hearty amount of salmon and cod brought in as well. 10/10. Bring beers!

Captain Jeff has a sixth sense for finding salmon, says he can smell em, I fully believe that! We ended up with 7 cohos, some rock fish and a lingcod and many more that we lost. A few of us got seasick but he had a secret cure for that and he also found us calmer waters. It was a lively day and a memory we will never forget. Thanks Cap

Caught a variety of fish while using a variety of techniques. Captain Jeff is a unique character who worked extremely hard to get my Dad, Brother and I in a position to hit some Salmon. Well done Captain! A sucessful and entertaining trip!

Great day of fishing with Jeff! Took great care of our group, lots of fish and lots of laughs. Would recommend this trip to anyone and would certainly return for another trip.

Great trip for my 87 year old father and his boys and grandsons. Can’t wait to go again next year, but probably book 2 days and try for some halibut as well

Jeff was an absolute treat! Hilarious guy, seasoned captain and great guide. We got into some great salmon and rockfish, felt extremely safe on the water, and really enjoyed our day out there. His boat is a bit older and takes a bit longer to get where you need to go but it was so comfy, and cozy with a full heated cabin and bathroom. And it’s huge so plenty of room to sit outside, fight fish and felt very safe in the water. We will be back Jeff! Thanks again
