There’s no need for a previous fishing experience, as you can learn everything you need to know right here.
You’ll be fishing on a 24’ Privateer boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. She’s powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine and features GPS and a fishfinder, so you can count on reaching the right spots fast. The boat also has a cooler for your snacks and drinks.
There’s a variety of fishing trips to choose from and you’ll easily find something that feels like it was made for you. From a 2-hour evening and clamming trips, and 4-hour tours for those who want to learn more about fishing, to a full 8-hour trip for those who won’t give up until they land the fish of their dreams. You can go after Trout, RedDrum, Cobia, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, and many more.
Your fishing licenses and equipment are included in the price. You only need to prepare some snacks and drinks for the day. For a hot day on the water, it’s also recommended to bring sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen.

Captain Zach is the man.
Morning Fishing Trip on June 6, 2025
We had a great 4 hour trip with captain Zach. We went down a man early due to motion sickness, and had to run all the way back to the dock to drop him off to buy a Shirley Temple at the restaurant in the marina. We lost some time, but captain Zach still put us on an incredible Spanish mackerel bite - we landed 43 in total! Since we lost some time, Zach stayed out with us beyond our normal time and tried his best to locate some cobia and reds even though we were limited to areas close to shore. Near the end of the trip, Zach spotted a pod of dolphins and raced over to them so that we could get up close and personal with them - they were right next to our boat. We had a phenominal trip, and I will definitely book with him again the next time we hit the OBX. Next time, I'll book a full day trip and we'll get after some monsters off shore :)

3/4 day fishing trip on March 26, 2025
Our trip by Guide Captain Zach was amazing. We caught trophy size fish for 4 hours straight. My daughter, son and I caught 40+ fish. None were smaller than 30 pounds. Sizes ranged from 35” to 45” inches. And, 3 were 50”! A 50 inch fish is 50 pounds. Zach's boat, gear, and experience is top notch! We will book again!

Afternoon Fishing Trip on October 11, 2024
We had a great time with Zach. Not sure if it was the hurricanes on the east coast or what but apparently it was a slow day for fishing, so it took us a bit to find the fish. But the whole time you could tell Zach was determined to find them. Then all of a sudden it was a frenzy and we caught 7 blue fish which came out to 48lbs of fish. It was awesome! Definitely will be going back to fish with Zach and highly recommend him.
