Captain Bo knows how to put you on the fish while the area is rich with various species to catch. Pick your day and have a memorable time on the water with River Bottom Charters!
Your trip will start on a 16’ Express HD16DBX aluminum fishing boat with room for up to 3 anglers. The engine it uses is a 40 HP Mercury and its navigation gear includes GPS and a fishfinder. There’s an ice-box to store your fish and drinks and a livewell to keep live bait.
The wide choice of freshwater fish you can target includes Largemouth, Spotted, White, and Striped Bass, Catfish, Crappie, Hybrid Striped Bass, as well as Freshwater Drum. You’ll use light and heavy tackle to bottom fish and spin and you can keep the fish you catch if you want to. Kids are free to join your trip.
Captain Bo provides you with all the fishing gear, live bait, lures, as well as catch cleaning. Bring nothing but your licenses, snacks, and drinks and you’ll be set for the adventure.

We found Bo to be an exceptional guide with a great knowledge of the Black Warrior River. He was very professional and a prompt communicator throughout the entire process from booking to possible reschedule due to weather to preparing the fish we caught.
