Walk On Water Fishing Charters is all about fishing the stunning waters of Corpus Christi.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Speckled Trout, Snook, Common Ling, and whatever else takes the bait. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Capt. Cody welcomes children aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they're within the legal limit.
You'll be fishing aboard a 22' Performance fishing that holds up to 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. To make your day relaxed and full of fun, all fishing equipment, bait, and fish cleaning are provided. Capt. Cody will take you to the spots, and you will bring them in. He loves to see smiles!
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include snacks, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

What an amazing trip we had. Cap was very knowledgeable and patient with us. First spot I really messsed up my cast and caused a crazy mess with two poles. the did it again on the next cast. I took mu own casting privileges away and Cap got it all fixed and has us back in the water. Now lets talk about the fish! we caught a ton of keepers and a couple massive Trout that were oversized but the fights were crazy! Cap’s enthusiasm was amazing! Made us feel like true fisherman! Huge storm rolled in towards the end and He got us back safe and sound, he even paid to have our fish cleaned. DO NOT pass up a chance to fish with Captain Cody!

If y out are looking for a reliable and honest captain who knows his business and will put you on some fish, Captain Cody Wilson is the right one for the job. Captain Cody was patiently helping my youngest son develop his open water skills. Captain Cody put us on the fish at every stop we made. We are definitely going to book another trip.

We had a great time together on the captain’s boat and we caught a ton of fish! We didn’t get the fish we were hoping for but we still caught cool species of fish including black drum, and trout! Overall, it was a really good fishing trip.
Captain Cody did a great job putting us on the the fish! The four of us caught a limit of beautiful reds plus an assortment of other wonderful fish. We had a great time and highly recommend this hard working captain.

We had a blast on our charter and caught a bunch of fish and many keepers. Cody was super helpful and we all had a really fun time together. Would recommend and will definitely be coming back to our boy Cody!
