Your day begins aboard a beautiful brand new 23' custom Haynie bay boat with room for 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials needed for our trip.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids (ages 5+) are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Kids under the age of 13 are required by law to wear a life jacket. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks and any other drinks of your choice.
Capt. Ryan will provide all the rods, reels and tackle for you. Everything is included in the cost of the trip except fish cleaning. When we return back to the doc you will take pictures of your catch and a professional fish cleaner will fillet and bag your fish for you.
You will need a valid Texas saltwater fishing license before the trip. This information is available online through Texas Parks and Wildlife, or you can ask the captain.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock, and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor and no glass bottles.

Captain Ryan was absolutely incredible—hands down the best fishing charter experiences we’ve ever had! He went out of his way to work us into his schedule last minute, which he did not have to do, and it truly shows his character and dedication. From the moment we got on the boat, everything was taken care of. He provided all the bait, rods, and expert guidance, and took us straight to the best spots at the perfect times. Not only did we catch fish—we hit our limit on speckled trout. Captain Ryan clearly knows these waters like the back of his hand, and it shows in every decision he makes out there. On top of that, his boat is beautiful, and the afternoon fishing the flats was beyond anything we could have hoped for. It was truly an unforgettable experience. We had an amazing day from start to finish, and there’s no question—on our next trip, Captain Ryan will be our first call. Highly, highly recommend!
Me and my mom came down from houston area and spending the week with family while we fished for our first vacation in YEARS. My mom wanted to do all kinds of fishing we never have time for, so i surprised her by booking Cap. Ryans charter. I even added another person after paying and he was absolutely flexible with me. My mom and Tio had the greatest time ever, we all got along, talked, fished, and had such a pleasant time. I've never seen them smile so so much. Will definitely be coming back to him to hang out on the water and fish again. Absolutely recommend, cannot state it enough, patient, knowledgeable, funny, talkative, and just so passionate about what he does. Thank you again Ryan, Victoria and Her mom and Tio.

Ryan was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and an excellent teacher. None of us had fished in the bay before and he had us taught and catching trout within a couple of minutes of pulling up to the first spot. The best advice I can offer is Hire Ryan, know how to get to the Marina (the turn is a little tricky in the dark and google maps got confused), and show up early (there is competition for the best spots and you want to be the Early Bird, not the Second Mouse.) You won’t be disappointed! We’re already talking about when we can go next!
Captain Ryan was awesome! We fished three days. The first day we fished for trout and drum. He made sure we got our limit on both! He knows where the fish are! The next two days we fished for trout and got our limit again! He not only baited our hooks and casting for us but he believes in teaching his clients how to do it all! We will definitely be back because he is determined to get you your limit every time! Like he says” we got bit!”

From the very start of booking Ryan was 100% in contact with us in all the details. He explained hiw to fish with croker and took time to adjust our technique as needed. We limited out on trout with in the first two hours. Next he took us to a black drum oasis we had 7 in 15 mins and then limited out in the next 30 mins. My whole life since I was little all I could ever think about was being on the water and getting to fish everyday. Just when I thought I was already obsessed I remember the very first trophy trout I caught. That's when the real chase kicked in and I was hooked for life. Everyday to this very day nothing gets me more excited then to chase these beautiful trophy trout. With all the years and time I have spent on the water, now my biggest enjoyment is getting to see my clients with a huge smile on their face when they get to land a trophy fish of their own. I love getting to teach people about our bay system, how these fish behave and what makes them so special. My goal is that after our trip is over not only did you have a blast catching fish but also that you learned things through out the day and made a memory that will last a lifetime.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 25% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
