Spend the day with me on the beautiful waters of Rockport, Tx and see what's biting! I've grown up in Rockport, learning from my dad who was an artificial only guide for over 20 years. I was a deckhand for him and another guide, growing up, and started guiding full time myself in 2012.
The time of year, weather and water conditions will determine what fish we are targeting and how.
Chase Odom Guide Service is a kid-friendly charter service, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed! I will have plenty of water on board to stay hydrated.
You'll be dropping lines from a 22' Pathfinder center console with space for 5 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
I provide Rods, reels, live or dead bait and all tackle including lures if we are fishing from the boat. If y'all wish to wade fish y'all will need to supply everything except lures.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock, bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed.

If MacGyver was a fishing guide, he’d be Chase Odom! The oil pump went out 15 minutes into the trip, and it looked like we might be Dead in the Water. Chase parked us on the edge of a shelf, baited us out and then started “fixing” the situation. Between taking the fish off of our lines and baiting our hooks; he used one of his SOCKS to transfer oil from the reservoir to the motor. All in all, it was a great day fishing. We will definitely book with Capt Chase again!!!
Chase was a super great guide! Super personable and knowledgeable in his field. Caught lots of reds on the trip!

I grew up fishing the bay's surrounding Rockport, Tx. My dad was a guide before me and taught me everything he knew from not just the fishing aspect of the business but to the customer relations of it. He taught me to take great pride in it and I do to this day. I love getting to take people fishing and teach them not only how to fish if they don't know how to but educate them on our day systems and conservation. Fishing is my passion and Ive been blessed to be able to do it as a career since 2012 and spread my knowledge of fishing. I hope to get to experience a day fishing with you.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Pickup not included
Transfer to/from departure site is not included in trip rates.
How you can pay
Pay online in full through FishingBooker and save on credit card fees at the dock.
No additional fees.
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 50% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
