The calm backcountry waters of San Juan have the best spots to fish for Tarpon in Puerto Rico. It takes a professional to show you the best location, and Caribbean Fishing Adventures Charters is just what you need. A prized catch for all anglers, the Silver King is guaranteed to provide a colossal challenge. Captain Angel Muntaner has fished tournaments all over Latin America, and is just the guy to get you reeling in the biggest fish.
You’ll sail these waters on the “Tight Loop,” an 18’ Hewes flats boat, specifically designed to navigate the shallow waters of the backcountry. Powered by a 115 HP Evinrude engine, you’ll calmly purr your way to the sweetest spots, so as not to disturb the fish beneath. This is a very comfortable vessel, that comes equipped with top of the line gear.
Trips are suited to every angler’s taste. Fish for Jack Crevalle nearshore, go fly fishing for Snook and Mangrove Snapper, or sail to the backcountry waters to target one of the best game fish – Tarpon. Light tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, drift fishing – the variety of fishing techniques will impress any angler, be it a novice or a pro. Capt. Angel and his crew also specialize in fly fishing, and really recommend this technique when it comes to battling your own Silver King!

Easy Going Trip - 4:00 PM
Amazing Hospitality!!!
We booked a 2 Hour Easy Going Trip, and we got rained out, so we decided to end the trip earlier. The owner was understanding and allowed us to book for another day with better weather conditions AND NO ADDITIONAL COSTS. On top of that, he also drove us back to our hotel! Aside from the business aspect of this. The owner was very helpful, informative, social, and you can tell he loves what he does and wants to ensure a great experience for the customer in every sense. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

First time saltwater trip
Dylan was my guide for this trip and i couldnt of asked for a better guide, it was my first saltwater trip so i was there to learn. He put me on fish immediately with a snook and then a tarpon. He was informative and taught me a good amount can't recommend this charter enough.

Easy Going Trip
Killer honey moon fishing
We started at 6am and went out into the back waters. Our guide kept us on fish. We saw many silver kings , had a few swings and caught 3 fish. Our guide also went above and beyond and let us try some fly fishing as well….GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Awesome trip
