You'll sail these waters on the 'Tight Loop,' an 18' Hewes flats boat, specifically designed to navigate the shallow waters of the backcountry. Powered by a 115 HP Evinrude engine, you'll calmly purr your way to the sweetest spots, so as not to disturb the fish beneath. This is a very comfortable vessel, that comes equipped with top of the line gear.
Trips are suited to every angler's taste. Fish for Jack Crevalle nearshore, go fly fishing for Snook and Mangrove Snapper, or sail to the backcountry waters to target one of the best game fish – Tarpon. Hired theae guys…explained to my. aprain what I was after…and had a Tarpon and a Snook in the boat in the first 30 minutes. The reat of the teip was gravy…and I told my Captain that as well. pressure was off him ai told him. we still boated 3 more Tarpon and 2 more nice Snook. It was relaxing, successful, conversation was great and surpassed all my expectations. Should note that I’m an “unprofessional” guide and I know how to catch fish I’m used to chasing. I had ZERO success on these species and only had success when I hired a professional outfit.

The owner was understanding and allowed us to book for another day with better weather conditions AND NO ADDITIONAL COSTS. On top of that, he also drove us back to our hotel! Aside from the business aspect of this. The owner was very helpful, informative, social, and you can tell he loves what he does and wants to ensure a great experience for the customer in every sense. 3/4 Day Trip on March 20, 2026 • 2 adultsImmediately, this is a great trip that I would recommend taking. Second, do not expect that Angel (the "captain") will not be your captain for the fishing charter itself. The captain we were paired with was one of Angel's emlpoyees Josh. Josh was fantastic as a captain. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. He was extremely dedicated to helping us catch fish. He chummed, moved spots, and re-baited all when needed.The fishing itself was enjoyable and easy (made moreso by Josh). The boat and equipment was great for what we were doing. I would recommend this charter to any group from a medium/small size family to dedicated anglers. Do not expect that Angel will be your guide, but do expect a great time with a fantastic guide like Josh. He needs a raise!

While we only got one bite and no fish, this was a relaxing and calming experience. We enjoyed being the only ones on the boat and didn't feel rushed. We enjoyed the scenery and the ride. My husband cast out a lot and did enjoy being part of the action. The captain was very nice and was prepared with everything ready to go. He changed places and also got input from others out on where we should try. He was very experienced and we would do this again if we ever come back!

German did his best, but the fish were lazy. We caught one though! You can’t go wrong with a boat ride on the bay and in the lagoon. Hearing all of the sounds in the lagoon and just being there were worth it. Highly recommend!
