Great First Charter
4 Hour Trip – Light Tackle (PM) on June 16, 2026 • 2 adults

For my first fishing charter, I had a really good experience on Tight Lines Fishing. Captain David and his crewmate Mickey were incredibly friendly and we had a good time talking on the boat. With the help of Captain David, I was able to land my first tarpon along with many bites. Overall I had a great experience on this charter and would strongly recommend others try it. If I end up coming back here in the winter, I’ll make sure to book them again.

4 Hour Trip – Light Tackle (AM) on December 14, 2025 • 2 adults

Captain David is an outstanding guide and extremely professional when it comes to tarpon fishing. He knows the water very well, understands tarpon behavior, and always puts you in the right place at the right time. His boat handling, positioning, and instructions throughout the fight were all spot on. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was done correctly and safely, from the setup to landing and releasing the fish. You can really tell he has a lot of experience and passion for tarpon fishing. If you are serious about targeting tarpon and want a guide who truly knows what he’s doing, I highly recommend booking a trip with Captain David. I would absolutely fish with him again.

Love Capt David
4 Hour Trip – Light Tackle (PM) on December 9, 2025 • 4 adults

David Baez calls these waters home, he knows them like the back of his hand. We hooked into massive tarpon on our trip and fought them on medium spinning tackle which was quite a challenge. I booked with captain Baez because I felt assured he was going to be our personal guide for the trip, not any random captain. What surprised me pleasantly was how friendly and warm this captain is. We fished with him for two days and he made us feel like old friends. He was always encouraging and with so much fishing knowledge to share he is a blessing to Puerto Rico and us visiting anglers to the island. He made the furthest and most accurate casts on spinning & fly gear I have ever seen in my life. He helps you build your technique too which is very gracious of him. I can't wait for my next trip to San Juan to go fishing with Captain David again and really recommend you book with him if you want to do some serious angling.

Nice day for fishing bad day for catching
4 Hour Trip – Light Tackle (PM) on January 15, 2026 • 2 adults

The fish weren't biting when we went out but David worked really hard to try and find us fish. He went to multiple fishing spots and always explained what he was looking for and about how long we were going to stay and try that spot. We got to see a lot of tarpon surface but they just weren't hungry that day. David was very nice and easy going

Capt. David started fishing when he was a boy. He used to fish near the rivers and streams close to his home in San Juan, Puerto Rico. At the age of 13, he started kayaking and tube fishing in the urban waters of the San José and Torrecillas lagoons with some of his best friends who are now also proficient Tarpon guides. This experience led Capt. David to consider becoming a fishing guide. He has since been guiding for over 15 years for different renowned companies. The captain is well-known for his hard work on the Tarpon grounds. He will use all his skills to get you the perfect shot at the fish every time.

Captain Dave was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We caught a couple of different types of fish, but lost the Tarpon I was looking for. Causing Dave grilled a couple of different spots. 10/10 for Captain Dave.

He knows the waters, very friendly. We used the same lours for casting rods for the 4 hour trip with no bites. We caught 4 fish, with a few more bites on the live bait but for the two casting rods we never had a bite. We are not disappointed! David was great!
